I took a gamble tonight, I figured you would play "playoff crunch time" and rightfully so.
I decided to go with "playoff normal" and luckily it paid off. Now I could be wrong with what I am about to say, and if I am feel free to correct me, or add in any thoughts you might have.
But I think the biggest advantage my team has/had over yours, is playoff experience. (which you only get from wins) which is kinda messed up, I mean even a team that loses in the playoffs should gain some kind of experience.
And i'm not sure if you're aware of this, I found out on my own a few seasons back. But only your starting 5 gain experience, if you win. Something to definitely keep in my, I mean if you watched that 4th Quarter, it was clear my bench players lacked experience, the ball wasn't going in the net as easily for them.
Another thing that surprised me with this game was: All the three's we were jacking up. and we played our famous "push the ball" and I can't recall a game where we took that many 3's. on top of that, the high % that BOTH teams were making them at.
Good Luck next season sharks, your team played amazing tonight! unfortantly somebody has to lose, that's the sport we play. but our 2 clubs put on a great show tonight for the fans.
hopefully we don't see you guys next season, however the verdict is still out on that.
