Where's the problem? You will either save up draft points to use, or not. If you have saved up, you will not know if THIS is the season to use them before you DO use them to look at the candidates and see what's there. You cannot spend the points to look, then decide you don't want to participate in this season's draft and get those points back. WHEN the draft appears has absolutely no bearing on what I just described. You spend points to see the candidates or you don't. So I see no problem there.

I disagree with MCMXC opinion on "all my season depended on getting the draft list one week earlier", but this is not what he saying.

His main problem is that if the draft is good, he can keep tanking and keep his first choice in the draft. If the draft is bad, no luck for the opposition, he will recruit and start to win games and they will demote instead of him.

He cannot determine "the draft is good" without spending the points. It doesn't matter whether he spends the points now or in a week. He has to spend the points to find out the draft is good or bad and he cannot unspend them.

It doesn't affect his draft decision in the sense that it doesn't get any spent draft points returned to him. Yes I can see that it affects his decision to tank, and I don't mean to be controversial but to be honest that is not a decision I respect anyway. In fact, if delaying the draft punishes tankers but not managers playing the game legit, that sounds like a good idea to me. Aren't people always looking for ways to curb tanking?

Spent like 30p and found onr 5x5 A+ PG and two 5x4 A+ players. They are 19 but since they got buffed, I think its awesome.

Not a single 5/5 is very common. Often the best player is a 19 year old 5/4 or an 18 year old 4/4. I have drafted 4/3s in the past & they can be total rubbish guys with 3k salary & star potential. Things are much improves now with the extra 5+ quality 19 year olds.

I got my draft list(Montenegro is 76).

Another flop. Spent 56pts, only one 5/4 18y found. Other than this guy there was not a single 5 ball 18y. I ended up scouting some 4 ball 18y, highest potential 3. I even scouted 2 18y olds with 3 balls LOL

The worst draft ever :)

I agree, but there isn't enough points. Can you tell me any effective strategy to find a future 140+ TSP player, by using 56pts?

All I think of, is combine + demo + scout 18y olds + interview some 5 ball 18yos..

I get too much 5 ball 19y olds to interview them. If their salary is pumped with 8 primary skill, and they have bad TSP, they are basically useless...

If I was just looking for good trainees, I would reveal all skills for 50pts, but I want MVP+, and that still takes 3pts per player...
