The Toronto Traptors in the NBBA went bot. I believe there is also on D2 team that is bot as well but they are already demoting so it won't change anything for D3 teams.

Mars Aliens is right, he will promote and get the 500,000 in cash, but he won't see the same ticket holder increase and experience the arena attendance increase that normally occurs from promotion via winning the championship.
