Your games look like that Olympic badminton fiasco a few years back. World Champion players serving into the net, whiffing on overheads, etc. XD

You might have missed the battle for the top pick in Naismith last year (43216560), highly-skilled 18 yo HOF player. I unfortunately lost that battle to what has to be the worst team ever (96966639), I should have just trained FT that week. One of the most heartbreaking losses ever.

Wow, when you think you did everything to make sure you lose, and your opponent goes one step further by not only dressing 3 players, but 3 players he found on the street!

Yeah, GM picked up an additional player for that game, and I probably should have done the same. I'd tried to guess the wrong GDP as well. At that point, we both knew that was a million+ dollar game based on how good the draft pick was.

I did what somebody suggested and bought some young players for training. So right now I have:

18yo HoF TSP:60
18yo HoF TSP:52
19yo HoF TSP:66
19yo MVP TSP:62 (drafted by me)
19yo allstar TSP:75 (I know, low potential, but with so high TSP I was thinking U21 maybe?)

Trainer level 6, I'm trying to get 7, but there is not many on the market and biding always ends when I'm at work/sleeping/busy.

So I guess I am actually gonna stick around ;)

Five is too many trainees in my opinion but it’s great that you are sticking around. We need people to train Canadian beasts.

I agree with beanerz. 5 trainees are too many. But to use all of them you should start with 1on1 or JS, training which is by default 2-position.

But nice effort. I hope you also you stay and train.

yes, get them 1 on 1, IS, RB, etc until you decide which ones to keep (or decide right away). trainer lvl 6 is great. wouldn't go out of my way to get lvl 7

I'll second RIP and say that as soon as even 1 of those players is 23 years old, the salary will be too much for div3.

Train 1v1 for a season for all 5 trainees. Re-evaluate then. But ideally, choose 3 to keep, sell the other 2, use profit to round out your roster with veterans to move up. Do this when they are 20 or 21. (20 just in case you try but fail to move up)
