It will be interesting to see If they start Chris Bosh this game or if they're going to leave him coming off the bench.

So the Heat took game 2 today. the Thunder started off the first quarter with 1-for-12 shooting and trailed 2-18 early in the game. the Heat led 55-43 at half. The early deficit cost the Thunders with them outsocring the Heat in all quaters except for the first.

The two key factors i thought about this series was how well both team can hustle for rebounds and limitting their turnovers. Thunders did well in game 1 but today they trailed in these hustle and muscle stats: Heat out-rebounded the thunder 40-36, outscored in the paint 48-32, played even in second chance points 12-12 and only lead one points in fast-break points 11-10.

Overall the two man, KD and Lebron again played pretty even in terms of stats, but Lebron got the help this time from Wade (24 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists on 20-for-10 shooting) and Bosh (16 points and 15 rebounds including 7 from the offensive end). Although the Thunders also have the other two men of Westbrook scoring 27 points 8 rebounds and 7 assits and Harden for 21 points on 7-for-11 shooting, the team had no one else scoring in double figures. The difference here was Shane Battier who shot 6-for-8, 5-for-7 beyond the arc nailing down 17 points in continuation of his hot shooting in Game 1.

Game 3 on Sunday @South Florida, Miami.

Both Durant and Lebron surprised me tonight.

Instead of attempting to hit the tying basket on the buzzer leaving Miami no time to win it in regulation, Durant went up immediately. He ends up missing, and even if he makes it Miami still would've had the ball with 9 seconds left.

And then Lebron actually makes his free throws in the clutch :P.

he had the shot..at close range..why give it up and risk not getting quite as clean a look?

and ps lebron fouled him he should have got two free throws.

Massive no-call.

Was a foul, no doubt. Even before he went up for the shot. Lebron fell asleep during that play and then mugged Durant.

Risk vs Reward. Sure, if he made it he would've tied the game but Miami would have the ball with the game tied and 9 seconds to play. If he instead grabs the inbound somewhere else and waits until just before the buzzer to shoot a 2 or a 3, Miami is denied that chance which gives OKC a greater chance of sending it to overtime or even winning in the case of the tree-ball. Sure, the shot might have been more difficult, but it's a risk I thought he would've taken.

PS: Standing in one place is a foul now?

It was the right play at the time... Durant had an open look and close close to the basket. It was a sitter but he got fouled by Lebron who had his arms around Durants knee. Its just as bad to touching their elbow when they shoot.

Anyways Miami stole a win and HCA. Kudos to them. Thats twice now that OKC got off to slow start...

and GO SUNS!!! steve nash and grant hill to come back for another playoff run LOL
