Well, the problem with ID for short guys is the very slow speed of training it, compared to speed of IS training provided by 1v1. The balance of IS and ID in this situation favors IS much more.
I share a feeling that JS is underrated, but only for inside players. But that's only because OD training is much slower for them, when JS training's pace remain the same. Therefore, JS beat OD almost always at inside positions, as OD beats JS at outside ones. That's why I believe that tactics using this advantage, Patient with PF/C as the main shooter are the serious alternative (if properly used) to LI dominance in BB's tactics.
