As someone who started around season 10, (not this account) it's outrageous how hard it is find a star backcourt player under $1m on the transfer list. Do you guys think the developers of the game will fix this or is this a matter of adapting to the game?

You'll probably have to adapt to the game at this point. It is all driven by the economy of the game. Because there are less users, there are less players, and it is driving up the prices of every good player because there are less of them. Try grabbing some cheap 18 y/o MVP potential guys at the beginning of next season and training 1v1 F on them for a couple of seasons if it fits your plans and flip them for like $1 mil+. That will help you take advantage of the market.

Tell me about it. I've been trying to find another guy like my "star" Fuente since last season. According to the Transfer Price Estimate, guys similar to him have sold 48 times for 500k to 1.2million. I haven't seen any of those 48 similar players and believe me I've been looking.

Re: the transfer market:

Last week, after months of searching, I finally found and bought a prospect I'm happy with -- 99 SP 21 yo old with superstar potential, for $2.6 million. My original budget was $1 million and I had to sell two rotation players to afford it, but I had to do it.

However, it's a grueling process finding the right player at the right price. Ultimately, what it took was checking the transfer market late at night, every day for months at a time. And even then, it often comes down to luck and timing (I had to get up at 3:30AM to bid on my guy).

And this was with a $3 mil budget. With $1 mil (which should be a lot of money), you can find solid bench guys but stars are unicorns.

I've been trying to find a somewhat finished starter between 25-27 to plug into the lineup but the difference in price between that and a younger slightly less skilled guy with room to improve is so small i just can't justify it.

I wish I could move my young prospects to my second team and use it as a Minor/Farm team to train them so my first team could stay as competitive as possible. Right now my second team has too much money to spare I just bought a world-renowned trainer while my first team is getting old but the it's hard to rebuild with the current market.

Good luck to all of the playoff teams this season!

And thank you to Rahway for allowing the Highlanders to avoid a relegation series.

Yeah, looks like I got the benefit of a few tanks, too. Good luck everybody, playoffs and draft, etc.
