MVPs vs Sth Korea
3- Iseman- 13pts on 45%FG, 6 boards, 3 assists.
2- MacGillivray- 13pts on 50% FG (only starter on 50%FG), 4 boards and kept his opponent to 2-19FG.
1- Wallwork- nice double double with 12pts 13boards off the bench. Added 3 assists.

And with that we await our next opponent in a knockout match. Stuff gets real from now, and we try to be last Asian team standing. Game on!

Happy for Iseman to steal the MVP for the game. Thought for sure Wallwork would win it

Iseman started and top scored, shot close to 50%fg, had 6 boards and 3 rebounds, and had a +- of +25. He didn't foul and kept his direct opponent to 4-20. All of these things contributed to my decision. Macgillivray also had high output with 50% efficiency and kept his opponent to 2-19! So he takes the 2 votes. Wallwork had a great 3 stat combo, but then you look a little further... he did it in junk time, and his efficiency was down with only 6-15FG%, only +10 in +-, and had 2 fouls. His direct opponent was the PF starter who until he checked in for junk time was only on 8pts, but then went to town on wallwork and finished on 24pts. A lot of info to weigh up but I think to 2 starters we're more important to winning the match.

Australia through to 2nd rnd of knock-out matches
(65224)

It was nice to pull through the CT vs TIE with a win. Getting the double gdp certainly gave us a boost that we needed.
MVPs
3- Macgillivray- 13pts, 6 boards, 3 assists, 2 steals.
2- Jaiswal- 6 pts, 13 boards, 3 assists 2 blocks
1- impey- 9pts, 10 boards.

We await our next opponent, which I'm fully expecting to face top seed for the tournament, Slovenia.

Was a great match, GDP was spot on. With their players their only real shot was running Inside so I think that was a safe choice.

Slovenia will be tough, just need to do our best!

Last game saw us knocked out by Slovenia. We were the longest standing Asian team and have achieved our goal for home court advantage for next seasons tournament. This is great news to help us make a long awaited world cup appearance!
Mvps
3- Anderson clear leader with good fg%, 6 boards, 4 assists
2- Macgillivray 11pts 4 assists, 3 boards and ok %. Kept his opponent to 8pts.
1- Holley 11pts, 10 boards, fg% at 20% let his game down.

I'll do my best to count up the mvps on holidays in limited range. I'll also try and secure a scrimmage and give our higher salary 20yr olds a game. Please bbmail me if you have a 19/20yr old that has reached our minimum u21 standards.

Time to announce the MVP race winner:

T-Mac shows that consistency pays off, he trailed the top 4 in 3 vote MVP's but ends up with the last laugh.

Congrats to his manager whitewind for keeping him in good GS even though he had an injury mid-season.

Shout-out to Greg106 and Charlieboy who managed our T2nd MVP's Anderson and Holley respectably.

At the end of the season it's also time to announce the winner of the 3 month supporter for guessing top point scorer.

And the results are in...

There were only 2 people who guessed Bruce Holley would be leading scorer:

AMT: 165 points

Charlieboy: 205 points

That being said, I think we were all ambitious after seeing Hai Nguyên's performance last season.

Congrats AMT, I'm sure whitewind will send you a BB-mail once he's back from his holiday for your 3-month supporter

Thank you Solesky for updating this while in away on a family adventure. I'll be back on board next week with 20yr old scouting...

Competition results
With the 21yr Olds done this season it is time to announce the tipping result.
Holley was our scoring champion this season, edging Macgilivray by 3pts to take the crown with 145pts. The closest tipster was AMT from Tippa Magic. Congrats mate, 3 month supporter to you. Thanks for the crew who jumped in on the comp for a bit of fun.

Amazing was the PF Wallwork taking the top assists with 29. I don't think you'll find another season where the PF leads assists?

Edit: Just saw solesky had also announced this. Great stuff!
