I was forced into playing look inside, but it worked out well. Didn't think I had the firepower for it.

Shepherd needed to play SG for training and he wouldn't be able to score in an outside offense against a legit 2, but he can score inside on any 2 in this league. I was more concerned about my PF and C not being able to generate offense, but Prats pulled a triple double 14 rebs, 11 asts, 22 pts. Not too bad. I would have been even better if Ricucci could have played SF, but I didn't want to overdo his minutes in an essentially meaningless game.

This makes 10 straight wins for the Chuckers after starting 2-5 without setting my lineup then going 1-1 regaining game shape and adjusting my roster.

I don't have the roster to promote (and I don't want to just yet), but I think I have shown enough to warrant some concern.

We will see...like I said, promoting this season could possible hurt my long term plan. Taylor and Baum are still very raw and need 1 more season minimum to shore up their weaknesses. I would get eaten alive in DIII giving them significant playing time next year.

Shepherd will max around 25k and Mughal around 18k. My first batch of players (Mughal, Ricucci, Shepherd) were just to barely get me out of DIII. Didn't want any salary monsters, but rather versatile, well-rounded cogs. My lapse in training prevented that, but all three are still highly versatile and can play 3+ positions in DIV. By Season 22, a front court of Baum and Shepherd with Taylor off the bench *should* be able to propel me out of this league even without superb guard play.

All things considered, I am fairly dominant even with the second lowest starting 5 salary-wise in the league. My deep, versatile roster allows me to mix and match to take advantage of weaknesses. By the time the payrolls hits 170k in season 22, my advantage should be evident. If Bunny Humpers wasn't around, I am fairly confident I could buy either a serious C or SF and take the promotion this season. I certainly have the money to do it, but I just don't think its worth the risk right now.

Look at you...praising me. Don't forget about LAR and the Serpents!

Just saying...I am very lucky this season.

True, LAR and SLA are tough and so are SEN and SUP. Not to downplay them at all. I just think you have the clear advantage at this juncture. Basically what I'm saying is I am not sure if a big addition would put me over the top so its too much to risk when I could clearly use that salary money elsewhere (ie. upgrading my stadium).

I wouldn't exactly call that close considering that you have well over double my salary and that my management has been very off so lately. I managed to mutilate game shape and training and injure my primary trainee for two weeks and only pull one win this week.

LSD Salary = $146,145
LLC Salary = $88,845

Difference = $57,300
Percentage = 61% difference

Deduction: Not quite double the salary, but significantly more than 20-30k difference.

Confusion = cleared up
