Hopefully Crazy Bongos comes back. It'd be a shame to have a team with so much money in the bank go bot.

I'm new here (the forum) but not new to BB. I haven't had time to read back through the rest of the posts, but I will.

I'm just hoping I can stay up this season...

And Bongos is gone... We've had a lot of turnover this season...

I'm sad that a "potentially" (i say potentially because of the funds he had at his disposal) tough opponent is gone, but it's good for me if I happened to not promote this season as basically all the teams in the great 8 haven't been around long enough to compete with me yet (sorry, it's just the truth, money/ability to generate revenue is king).

Yeah I think that's pretty obvious when you just clobbered me by almost 100 points hahaha.

I'm just waiting this season out kind of, trying to figure out a plan moving forward.

I'm training some young dudes at C but other than that I haven't really done anything with my team.

Lol, I needed to pad my PD lead on the rest of the undefeated Div III teams :P

Ya, this is my teams 10th season I think, so it's not even really fair for the guys who have been around for less than 1...I went on a bit of hiatus for a few seasons when I didn't care (just signed in once every few weeks). Finding quality trainees and building your arena is the smartest thing to do in the early going I think.

You're right. It is all about generating revenue. Rather than spend a tonne of money on good players, I've been trying to buy low and sell high, and build up my stadium. My 20,000-seater should come in handy when I start to actually win some games!

I'm hoping that next season I'll be a top 4 team and move on from there...

You've got this one, I think. Forgot to set my lineup for a scrimmage, starters played, and everyone's gameshape will be shot. I'm close to done with this game, I think.

Season 21 League III.4 Post-Season Preview

Big 8

#1 Silver Palominos vs. #4 Olanipekun: Silver went for first place in the final game, but will the loss of enthusiasm be worth it? We shall see!

#2 Fundamentally Sound vs. #3 Werewolves of London: There will be no full moon to help the Werewolves in this one.

Great 8

#1 The Aristocrats vs. #4 Denied: Nothing to see here people.

#2 Ottawa Ankle Breakers vs. #3 New Glasgow Panthers: Probably will be the closest playoff game of the 1st round, match-up of two fairly new teams.

My prediction for the 2 teams that will battle it out for promotion:

Fundamentally Sound vs. The Aristocrats.

Relegation Series

Grounders Eclipse vs. Month steelers: Grounders should eclipse (har har) Month steelers in this one.

Bridgetown Bollux vs. New Jersey Dynamos: Flip a coin. Heads is Bridgetown, tails is New Jersey. I got Heads.

Managed to pull out a win. Happy to make it to the Final 4 but obviously I'm not going any further.

Big game from my 18 year old Canadian centre in the quarter finals though with 22 points and 20 rebounds.
