Somethings broken if I can get a good center for 4k even if he gets paid 200k a week. Consequently I'll be firing/retiring Blenkinsop. He's been with me for 17 seasons as I drafted him in season 6, but he's starting to get old.

PS. PK will win anything he wants this season.

Well, whats a new season without bitching about the game, right? So, let's start out with game 1.

1) Their center hits 2 half court prayers at the end of the 1st and 2nd quarters. Hmmm...
2) Higher game ratings in every position but one. Hmmm...
3) Higher PP100 in every position but one. Hmmm...
4) Their SF outscored mine 21-10 despite worse skills (both on TL so easy to check that) Hmmm...
5) Player ratings heavily in my favor.

I know what the answer will be. HCA. Right.

Welcome to Season 24 everyone!

If you remember me, then I don't care if everyone else forgets.

Thanks ;)

Last regular season game last season my team won by 5. Similar players, statistics, HCA, effort, enthusiasm, but in actuality my team played "worse".

2 half court shots were the difference I guess. Typical BS.

I had a frustrating end to my first game as well, if only my starting bigs weren't sitting out for so much of the last 5 minutes. But, c'est la vie, have to make up for the game later on in the season, looks like it'll be a close battle between being in playoffs or relegation again.

Team HTG is embarrassed by the win and has petitioned the powers that be at Buzzer-Beater control to strip our team of the victory and give it to it's rightful owner.
I'm sure we'll be hearing back from them soon.
Will pass along any info as soon as I get it.

FWIW- As I stated in the back and forth bbmail with you that
my players were better, which you laughed off, this besides HCA
all things were equal, exact season starting GS

The opening day DMI's:

Mine-Yours
1380000 C 739000
760 PG 719
647 PF 577
533 SG 483
282 SF 360 (282 replaced by 233)

My better players spent more time on the court against your lesser players.
It is my team that should be upset that A) the game was as close as it was since my C should have dominated
and that the ratings should be so out of whack
Ended as it should
HTG winners

Yeah two tough home games and a tough road game. Only one pushover game really. Horrible luck! :/
