Don't quit. You ran into a few unlucky bounces in a row and are still one of the better teams of Div.IV.
I thought about quitting many times before for the exact same reasons... and somehow this is my 28th season... and I never made it to Div. II... talk about not having skill, eh? ;)
I'm with D-Man on this one. If it would be to easy, we all would have been gone already. The BB-guys changing the importance of the skills is highly annoying though...
With my team going crunch time against CA I should have won that game with my roster... lost
I think having home court and better game shape helped me quite a bit in that game. That, along with a few unlucky substitutions in-game (your bench against my starting-5) sealed the deal.
You have to read between the lines if you look at a player's salary. Which skills does a player have to get to that $$$ number?
Is it a balanced player or is the player all offense or defense?
I have a few players on my team that are very one dimensional. They have one goal in the game and that's it. If you look at the game ratings and the stats of some of your players, you will clearly see who those players are and what area they are good at.
Figure that out and you will crush me in game 2.
Btw: hope you didn't get a heart attack in your cup game. Awesome win against our old league dominator, the Cantaloupes. Good luck against lakey, old league enemy from Div.III. Please crush him ;)
