On Monday we will play Macau, currently 30 places behind us on the World Rank (91th).
As both teams are eliminated from the Consolation Tournament, this is a kind of a Friendly.

Game Shape is good, only one injury (Schwarz, so no discussions )
Should be a win for Austria.

The Macau Match - Great Result !

Line-up (Finaly all our top-players are in good shape):
- PG >>Rümmele (Sariyar)
- SG >> Zuziak (Dimovic)
- SF >> Rosenstatter (Dober)
- PF >> Dizdarevic (Zangerle)
- C >> Kara (Zangerle)
Strategy : PtB - MtM

With no pressure we played an outstanding game against low-placed Macau. On all aspects we were better an achieved a big win (113-49 !!). Man of the match Dizdarevic (20 pts/19 reb). From the bench Sariyar played a good game with 9 assist. After tonight we will focus on the Russia-match, but first we're off to the Casino.....

The Russia Match

As aspected, Russia was to strong. In an almost sold-out "Arena of Agony II" (Joe.City.Nets) the world nr.11 defeated us (101-82). With this result we ended 48th (of 86). Rest of the season we will play some scrimmages, starting against Romania.

Maybe we meet next season, with a better U21 !
