Actually my salary all season was about $280 and I was two position training with 18 year olds. I thought I might win without any big men but then I was getting some trouble with look inside teams so I added $50K in salary with Huang to protect the rim. I feel I could win with just him. I bought Pol strictly for next season in DII as he will play well there. I only used him off the bench last week and he had little effect on getting to the finals. So, my team salary should be viewed as $280 or $330. Pol is not a factor yet.

330 puts you at #7 or 8. On par with bucsblue, who is a top 10 d3 team. 280 puts you at the average finals team. 280 is reflected in your record during the season. A legitimate title contender, but not dominant. 419 puts you at 2nd in the division by a lot. Just stating the facts yo.

Well i will be the first to give Marsh his congrats. I dont see my team making a dramatic comeback to win this game. I have now been in 3 finals in this league and have come up short. I have made the executive decision to restructure my team. Going to take a different route to winning the league. This move may mean i am not a true title contender for 1 season but thats going to be worth it. As the current make up of my team is not one that will win this league next season also not knowing if we will get another D2 team thats built to win again right away.

Great season. See you guys in Season 31

Definite congrats to Marshland and good luck in DII. Congrats also to BucsBlue for their continued success. It will be interesting to see which direction they rebuild the team.

Definitely excited for next season already!

That said, again I get an outstanding draft class.

Well Walnut & Homeboyz... I haven't completely decided the route i want to take in restructuring my team. I will promise you guys this... i will not be like my boy snake and just lose every game and relegate. Maybe i wont be a true contender for the league title for 1 season. Maybe i will who knows how the restructuring goes. But I will still plan on winning some games next season. My management and fans understand that we weren't built for D2 and even had we won we were aging and would have needed to find some restructuring if we made it to D2. instead we will have to make those adjustments in a bridge year here in D3. Season 31 will be one of patience in prep for season 32! Best of luck as you guys continue to improve your teams!

Nice job landing the highest salary guy in the draft too...I'm curious where I had that guy ranked.

I have to laugh...I undoubtedly missed a guy or two, and it looks like Crosstown dumped his draftees already as there were no 0 DMI guys on his roster, but here is the salary breakdown of some of the top picks:

(Round ups included listed in parentheses)

1-7K
3-5K (4971)
2-4K (3971)
8-3K (2977/2906)

Most of those guys went to upper division league teams, including the 7K guy going to the league runner up. I picked up 2 of the 5K guys (included Livingston, who was probably the 2nd highest salary in the draft at $5800+). They have really improved the draft in recent seasons, especially by making the 19 year old players much better overall. While it can be really hit or miss with some classes still, it is very much worth the investment. There is absolutely no reason for the best 5-6 guys in a draft class to end up with the best teams.
