I'm just gonna rebuild for now and try to make a sustainable core. Sell my players, start fresh and make a late push for playoffs/ try to stay up. Now's a good time to sell! Also, i'm probably gonna suffer from attendance since i don't have attendance boost. That's gonna suck, but i'm hoping rebuilding won't last too long!

Fully against tanking though! There's no way i'm gonna try to demote. I'll make a push soon.

I'm sure you get attendance boost from promoting until ASG. But $453 009 salary is still extremely high and you're probably not going to make any profit to get extra players unless you have tons of cash saved up. Just take this advice with a grain of salt, two 50k players is almost always much better than 1 100k player.

But seeing how fast you've grown the past seasons (I stalked you a bit since you're all over the place) and how active you are you are probably the best positioned out of the newcomers to make a case for belonging in d2, got faith in you!

I promoted thru bot cleanup with the best record in D.3. Because I didn't win finals, I don't get attendance boost. So, I'll do my best to rebuild faster so I don't suffer too much from attendance.

Wow, just found out that I hosted last seasons All-star game. Ashcroftians must have enjoyed that considering not one of my players made the team.

Wow nice writeups! There is definitely a change between d3 and d2 on that aspect (active players on the forums).
As for myself this season, my main goal is to avoid relegation. You already beat me on the first game (although at home and with more effort...), and I think I will lose quite a few others, but I need to finish my arena before going on a spending spree. Hopefully if I get a good run in the cup I will be able to sneak my way into the playoffs :p But for now the focus is on arena and training Cornoldi/Ranjith.

I'm still trying to balance out my roster and get rid of old guys. Vasil will be gone, either he's sold, or fired.
Any other advice?

Attendance sucks when losing, but i'm hoping to put an end to it soon. Gotta start winning some games for the fans!

I don't know whats your bank like, but it looks like you're off to a decent start.
Vasil Dragoychev is only 32 so he MAY last another season before any major drop offs, but his salary can be hard to keep up with.

Otherwise you only need SF/PF filled once you dump Vasil. Basically from my experience any starters not in the 25000+ salary is likely to get abused (with the exception of SF position). Your bench could use some very serious work too, you currently have the weakest bench in this division at $ 28 645.

You most likely can survive with your current roster (or a few minor moves), but your pay roll is ridiculously huge and you're 0-2, so chances are you need major moves ASAP (Gameshape will be a b*tch) or you'll most likely be fighting for relegation & not making money at the same time, or you could pseudo tank with a shitty roster and grab a good pick and bet it all on the draft. Demotion penalty will be tough when you're back in d3 though.

I'm gonna get a new sf/pf once vasil is gone... yeah, bench needs work.

I'll see how it goes and maybe be sort of mediocre in the 5th/6th position. Gonna try to stay up though, no point in demoting intentionally (tanking.)

Thanks for the advice!

Your conference is pretty tough actually, Royal Windsor, Cheetarian, Harlem Strikers are all very well managed teams and Super Slam Dunk has a weird management philosophy (29 players roster?) but has a very stacked team from 1 to 10. Toronto Knockout has been in a slump the past seasons but it seems like hes picked it up and made some pretty solid moves this month.

Which honestly leaves you, kk, lynx.
KK seems locked for relegation at either 6th or 7th, i don't see him moving to 5th unless one of the aforementioned teams decides to not give a f*ck and give up.
Lynx has 5 players on his roster, his arena isn't big enough to sustain the team in his conference.
And theres you, you have an arguably "better" roster than both KK and lynx but with the problems i mentioned, its only a matter of time before your team goes down (age or $). Given you are already behind + rebuild (factor in transfer GS) you can't seriously start "competing" until another week or two.

But who knows, Calgary Spitfire was like 7th or something by ASG last season and he came back in a blaze of glory into the conference finals only to lose by 4. But his case was losing close games, where as yours are management problems.

Good luck!

EDIT: but you are positioned well as your arena is nearly D2 ready. So its not as grave as it seems, but you can't make a lot of wrong moves and time is running out on you.
