Most of them I purchased off the TL. I did draft Kang though, he was a 62 tsp HOF if I remember correctly, absolute stud. Even with drafting him I lost money, but got tons of wins with him too and he ended up being one of the best USA players we've ever had.

Nice! Yeah, Kang was a stud. Now imagine winning a B3 title with a homegrown NT player like that... it would be beautiful!

story was insane. I can't remember any player selling for more than him. Looks like he sold for 9.69m after the draft, then a team bought him for 3m, then I bought from them for 4.4m and sold a while later for 6.7m. He might be the top player ever for money being thrown around for him lol.

I was a bit off on my recollection. The Leach situation was a weird all around. The only other US trainee that sold for big money that I can recall was Xermade; Brian purchased him at age 21/22 for 7m. In both cases, the market was inflated.

BB games can be quite ridiculous sometimes. I don’t know how my team went from down 76-80 with 7 minutes left to winning 102-80. 26 unanswered points to end the game is outrageous.

I have a love/hate relationship with this game. I was looking for a younger big to train with my new guys, that had a lil bit of experience, but then I then I saw a young Thanos on the market and I had to have him. (party) }:> :@

🚨Attention: my 20y/o trainee, Mark “Pass Master” Gibbons, has just set a new league record for assists (22), to go along with his triple-double performance in tonight’s win vs the #2 team in the big 8.

Let this be a lesson to all: don’t press the Pass Master, because he will break you and your press. If you don’t know, now you know.

Thank you for your attention to this matter,
Love A-Dub

Yeah, it was a great performance! Gobbins has slowly revitalized my interest in BB, which is crazy, because just last week I was contemplating selling him. I can’t sell him now, I’m too invested (just acquired a new trainer and have big plans for him). I’m a sucker for homegrowns.

In regards to the assist record: last week, Stefan Angster, dropped a league tying 21 assists against the same team (and same full court press defense). Perhaps the record well be broken again this season, who knows!

He's currently at 14 PS (Wondrous). I haven't trained his PS since last season, but I'm switching back to PS this week due to my new rookies needing PS unfortunately (typically I avoid passing early on due to salary inflation).

I drafted him as a 19 y/o w/ 76 TSP (he is well rounded with no major holes).

The plan is to train him heavy in PS/SB/ID/RB; I've been wanting to train that type of player for a while now. Originally he was going to be a forward, but with the addition of new trainees this season, plans changed.

Nice. I was curious what kind of passing it takes to get 20+ assists. My team record is 14 and that was by a player with sensational (12) passing. But I suppose my unwillingness to give players a 48 minute game hinders my record setting ability.

Should be a fun guy to train it sounds. I love training up “my guys”. Though I don’t think I’ve ever held onto a HOF potential draftee to have that kind of ceiling.

If the circumstances are right, you’d be surprised what you team can do passing wise! Like for example: playing against a bot or a full court press defense and using a fast pace offense—crazy stuff can happen!

Yeah, this was probably my best ever draftee and I’ve been playing for years—lots of busts or MVPs w/ 50 TSP! It’s nice to be able to keep and train your draftees if you have the financial means to do so!
