Most managers don't rush with expanding arena. Instead, they first try to increase the prize of the tickets. That will cost you nothing and increase your earnings. Latter in the season, as your economy gets stronger you should go with investments in arena expansion. It is expensive but a good long term investment.

What sector to upgrade? Every sector is important.
However, if you expect to lose only few games this season, then upgrade the bleechers and lower tier. If not, upgdade them again but not too much and spend some on courtside and luxury.

If you start to sell out in consecutive games than you might want to think of expanding because you are only losing money selling out.

Not necessarily. Raising prices would be the first option. You don't have to fork out money for an investment and you will get more money out of it

But having said that, expansion is a long term goal.

Have a look at similar teams in your league and see what they are charging. You should set your prices to something similar.
