Yer ABBL didnt have a very good draft last year. but as far as i understand it, its all random. Its never set in stone that a draft will have X number of MVP or above potential players. (I think they had an MVP potential guy in there
(25104612)) and there are numoerous drafts going on around the world where a good potential player was indeed in the draft, in the top league.

just doing a search for all current 'All time great' potential players that are currently for sale, they are from a variety of draft divisions, from 1, all the way through to 5. But no real weighting towards lower div's.
I think if you took all draftee's from all the division 4 teams in Australia, then you would of course have more good draftee's, because there are more div 4 leagues, but ive personally never seen any evidence to suggest that lower leagues have better chances of better draftee's.
Though Ive never seen anyone do much statistical research on this in any of the forums though, so im happy to be shown contrary to the above.
dammit im curious now! ill have a trawl through some more drafts from other Div I in other countries, see what i can find.
