Well the Hacks are managing to stay above .500. The 3-2 is better then I expected but I will take it.

Only a bit of time left before I will need to drastically increase my salary. Clearly this should improve my roster but only if I can save the crazy amounts needed for decent players.

Haha, I am pretty sure you don't need to worry about my team competing with yours - not yet anyways.

I'm in full training mode, I'm only keeping my first generation of trainees and 2 good 30-something players to meet the salary floor, I'm not a threat for anyone :D

Edit: I just realized that maybe you're immune from the salary floor at the moment. That's true what you say, your team is in serious need of talents ^^

Well I am really only in my second season. So the focus has been on my arena and trainees.

With being immune to the cap I should be able to save a bit of cash but then need to find a deal or two on the market. At times that seems unlikely but we will see.

"second season" says my old GM. It's so weird coming back on here after a few years and seeing so many familiar faces amid all the changes. The day i signed back up i found out my friend had continued playing all this time since me and my friends all stopped 5-7 years ago. Better yet, he's currently in a bitter rivalry with my old rival from my old team 20 seasons ago. 1 month in, it feels oddly empty in div 3. 3 straight bot cup teams is a little depressing, but i cant complain about free bonuses.

Anyways, I'm at the point with my team where i could probably promote this season, but my team is in no shape for div 2 after only 1 season. My original/current plan was to stay in div 3 for another season, where all of my money would go to arena/training, but the last week ive been thinking more about the promotion bonus and economic benefits of going up right away. I'd probably be a bottom div 2 team next season, so i dont know if the negative attendance and relegation potential outweigh the economic benefits of a struggling bottom div 2 team vs a peaceful top div 3 team. Also, it's weird seeing my second team consistently rank higher than my main team because they face tougher competition all the time.

This is only my second season back and I seem to be managing just fine. Started in Div III and promoted the first season and am having a bit of success in Div II.

Promote ASAP - the extra cash while not having to meet the cap floor is huge :)

Yeah seeing you winning with such a cheap team is definitely interesting and enticing. I just got my last piece yesterday, so I'm probably ready to go up. The only concern for me is the arena, i want to get to around 10k seats before start of my first div2 season. Now that my team's complete, I'm basically hoarding cash rest of the season, so I'm trying to figure out if I'll have enough with the promotion bonuses.
