If Bearden doesn't sell then I will keep him and just do a rebuild in my front court with some young guys with potential

Sounds like a plan. May want to keep Beardon and build around him. Not a bad idea to have an established player. Unless he would eat up too many minutes someone else needs for training. Lot of ways to go. Good luck with it. I think an upgraded trainer is a good idea. Mine is a step up from the bottom. Problem I have is I am not making enough from my arena to pay big bucks to a trainer. May be the way I go though if this season blows up in my face. I'm not going to over think my strategy any more. It costs me games in the previous seasons, and one already this season. Just go with what my guys can do and don't sweat it.

Of course Papp gets injured. Now he isn't going to sell and I will probably have to lower the price or hold on to him until he is healthy. Ugh.

You have my kind of luck. And a two week injury at that. That sucks, maybe hold on to him and try when he is healthy again.

I might just come back at a 430K price tag. It is only 60K price reduction from the net $ I would get if I sold him after two training updates at the current price, assuming he would sell.

Somebody will likely buy him. Two week injury early in the season isn't as big a draw back as if it is down to the last few weeks.

Someone bid on Bearden and I am not sure how I feel right now. I am losing the best player I have ever had but I am getting 1.5 mill from him alone towards a good rebuild. I guess I just need Papp to sell now.

Yeah you're making at least a 500k profit on him (excluding sales fees) so that's definitely a win for you lol. Assuming your other guys sell, you can acquire some young studs and mix in some experienced guys and you should be good to go. Seems like your rebuild efforts won't take too long. I am also thinking of doing a partial rebuild, but that would most likely be after this season. I'd probably sell my veteran PG and I'm even thinking of selling my young center (after only 2 seasons) should his salary increase more than I'm hoping. That way I can maybe make a quick profit. If not I'll keep him for my core, expand my my arena, and train my young guys. Just hoping I can stay disciplined and stay away from spending my little cash on a likely 1-and-done player (I'm right there with ya Mr. Hoops) haha.

There is officially a bid on Papp and my rebuild is in full go mode.

Good for you. I kind of figured this early in the season it wouldn't put too many people off.

Two big acquisitions, a national team player to boot!
