Investing in the draft is still hit or miss. I didn't do to bad last season, but had to take 19 year players instead of 18 to get decent picks. Opened up most of the draft board last year. Still investing 10k a week, but might just let that roll for a season and open up the whole board next year. We shall see.

Good luck to everybody making the playoffs. HumanFund. Big game for you next week. And Kelts. Wow. Monster purchase for the playoff push.

Welcome Detroit Blackout! Good luck my friend....we have a good mix of teams here and hopefully we get some more engaged owners like you.

Thanks Randy...no playoffs for me this year as my dmi dropped precipitously but im ok with the higher draft pick. I believe we both can be in the mix next season though. Cant wait. Good luck to all playoff teams and hope you all avoid injuries.

Thanks, it really wasn't a purchase for the playoff's this season, as the price was right to set up the rotation for next year. I had really thought that my starting SF would excel at the point and it didn't really pan out. Rather unhappy with the overall offensive flow that I was getting. If the change is enough to win it all, I will be happily surprised. Honestly, I don't see anyone beating Archers, and have hopefully put myself in a spot to be a legitimate contender to win it all next season.

I think I can make it to the conference finals, but I'm playing so many inexperienced players that an upset wouldn't in the early rounds wouldn't surprise me. Not really planning on much with the draft either, which might be a mistake with the number of bot teams, but I really feel like I've got a good core of big men to train. Another season under there belt, coupled with improved play from the PG spot hopefully puts me in a spot to win it all next season.

Good luck everyone, and welcome to any new managers, hope they can stay active as it always makes things more interesting!

Good luck with the draft, considering the number of bot / new teams, if you've invested in scouting there should be some impact players out there. I know that they mention tweaking the incoming talent level, especially at D 4 and 5. Let us know how you do, could be interesting.

I know I invested big time in the draft last season, and picked up a center that has pushed on and off all season to start, and a backup who is developing very nicely, minus his awful stamina and free throws. Only problem was I had to reach up to 19 year olds. Would be excited to see someone post a draft break down (after the draft off course) especially if they had scouted enough to open up the entire board.

I'll take some pictures of my board for reference after fact. If others do we can compare and contrast after draft. Maybe find some patterns of things to relevance for drafting.

HumanFund ouch on the 3 PD Miss of playoffs... ouch.

I've actually got nothing invested in this years draft or I would be happy to participate as well.

Well... I learned a lesson about posting in "main" forums.

Easier to take a drill to myself if I want a hole in my head.

Is it an anomaly that it's pleasant in here? Or did I just walk into a storm of sorts?

LOL, I can't really speak for anyone else, but I think I'm pretty easy going, most certainly don't take the results of this game as very important in life.
