I'm not one for false modesty but i did [EDIT:NOT, DUH] give myself better than 5 per too [EDIT: TOO SHOULDONLY HAVE ONE 'O' IN THIS INSTANCE] beat Bluebucs on the road. I havan't talked much on these forums this season but it sucks for the whole league that one of us has to go down.
Good luck, all.

It was a good battle that's for sure. I pulled the game up. it was back and forth we had a chance to get some of your key guys in early foul trouble and we stopped going to the basket and instead decided to shoot 3s. My center for some reason decided he should lead us in 3pt attempts when we clearly had forced 9 fouls in the first quarter by attacking the basket. I think its an interesting matchup because my guards going to the basket is my advantage and we took way too many 3 pt shots to win the game.

So good news is its a series and not 1 game so boys aren't giving up yet but we know if we can't finish around the hoop and put your PF & C in position to foul us at the rim. I would say we have a very very low % chance to win on the road and force a final game, but i dont think its completely impossible.

You don't have the players to run a successful 3-2 defense, bro. Your perimeter defense as a team should've been a sensational (high) as a bare minimum, not proficient (low) and your guards had way too many turnovers and not enough steals.

Lesson learned: Have crazy high Outside Defense, Handling and Passing on your PG, SG and SF when running 3-2 zone.

Also I just noticed that PuffPuffPass hasn't been on since the day before the All Star Game, SMH. 4/30/2017 was last date of online activity.

+/- 4 point variation between all relegation matches today and +/- 1 point variation between all semi-final matches. I call hacks, game engine is broken.

Besides that, good game Scrap. I wish had Home Court advantage but I don't think that would've been enough.

I'm very fortunate to have survived for a 7th season in III.7. I'd like to give myself genius cred for staying up after such a horrible team, but I wasn't paying a lot of attention this season. But it's not as if I wasn't paying any attention, and my lacksadasical attitude may even have helped, since I made up a plan which gave me a fighting chance without destroying my team for the future, and I wasn't really tempted to panic and abort the plan, not because the situation never reached panic-inducing levels of awfulness, but because I found myself unable to generate sufficient emotion for panic. To loosely paraphrase Colson Whitehead: I have an excellent poker face, because inside I am dead. Early in the year we saw with Space Von Jam what kind of success complete apathy can bring.
My first season I was picked to finish dead last, and I finished 6th, with a .500 record. This was by far my worst season, and I'd feel guilty for staying up, except the blue side's been able to coast into 6th and win home court advantage for most of the time I've been here. The only ones here from that first season are Baker Street, Blue Bucs, Rhino's Rage, and Space Von Jam, though the latter two have been elsewhere in the interim.
My team's still old, but my youngish SF, Phillip Hare, might be good enough to build around, or at least valuable enough that I can exchange him for three more old farts, to go with the four I have, and keep my head above water for one more BuzzerBeager year.
Good luck, all.
