Exactly. Usually, I'd wait around for a really long time for one of those really well valued players to come around, but I dont have the time for that, so I picked up who I could when I could. It helped that I had a more money than I've ever had in BB when I logged in. He has decent secondaries and will adequately (I hope) work with the other guard I have, who has low-ish OD.

I don't understand why you need good players. You have already relegated from DIV and it is impossible to relegate from DV. I would think it would be better to buy a talented, young player at a discount because of low JS or OD and train that for a full season or two big men with strong secondaries but low RB and play them at PF/C for a full season.

Low maintenance high reward type of things. Then when you come back you've got some legit players to trade to start your team. If you vested in the draft for a season or two you could probably even snag some players to start building around.

*Edit* this is obviously supposed to be for LLC, not sure why it auto-replied to Lemony.

I'm confused. This was directed at Lamchops. As far as I know, you will still be here next season to fight for promotion again.

Wouldn't make much sense for you to follow my advice right now, as you can build much more valuable players being active. This was just advice knowing he is going to be inactive for long stretches of time.

I managed to read my schedule wrong. I thought I won the RL series. I'm an idiot. Thank you for telling me. I can't believe that I just spent all that money on players I have to sell back now.
