Depth chart until 4th gives my starters enough minutes to be in the 60s range at the end of the week if I start them next game. It's a game shape thing.

Happy Monday League. Interleague play has been exciting as expected. One thing that has to be said is that going into the season and early in this season it looked as if the Great 8 was the superior of the 2 sides. However nothing to do with wins losses vs each other but looking at the standings the Big 8 has 5 teams at 7-4 (3 at 8-3) while the Great 8 has the league's best record of 9-2, but only 3 teams 7-4 or better. So lets get into the games Tuesday as there are some interesting matchups

#1 BucsBlue vs #2 Tigers (NO HYPE NEEDED)
This game doesn't need much Selling. You have the #1 & #2 scorers in the league (separated by 1 pt) you have 2 league leaders in rebounding. Same records and tons of title and promotion hopes. Tigers has a HUGE cup game against former III.7 Champs Cheeks but Tigers casually played TIE and didn't play his starters in his game Saturday. Expect Tigers to play his REAL game Tuesday. Bucs are on a 7 game winning streak. Since starting 1-3 Bucs has found a little groove. Already out of the cup no need to rest starters in this game. I wouldn't be surprised if the BB game engine sends this game into OT. I expect a shootout! Homecourt advantage goes to Tigers plus a 3 pt home advantage. Vegas has Tigers as a 1 point home favorite.

#1 Marsh vs. #2 Baker
Another massive game taking place on tuesday as Marshland takes on Baker. Marsh entered this league as a D2 demote which unless rebuilding typically is a team looking to get right back to D2. Marsh is a 2 loss team (best record in the league) and looks the part of a Champion. Marsh has the best backcourt in the league a dynamic 2 headed monster that will be hard for Baker to contend with. Baker will attempt to counter with solid inside scoring. Marsh can score but he also gives up plenty of points. expect a scoring spree by both teams, but i believe Marsh just will "out talent" Baker. Vegas has Marsh as a 7 point favorite. This game will either be really close or a blowout is my person opinion.

#4 Homeboys vs #4 Crosstown
This game deserves some mention not as marque as the other 2 games, but still a battle between current playoff teams and a game the others in the league will be keeping an eye on. Homeboyz and Warhawk are currently tied for that 4th spot with the Boyz having a better pt diff. On the other side Crosstown and Philly are tied for the 4th spot with Crosstown owning the better Point Diff. As i've said before i'm a huge fan of the Boyz. They play hard, smart, and together. They are just a blue collar team. Crosstown has a good foundation lot of young talent that i like. Crosstown is a team i dont want to face in a couple years if the manager is training properly. We are giving Crosstown the home court advantage win. I think they win a close close close game. Vegas has them favored by 3.5

Other winners.... Warhawk beats Frosty, Walnut over Dang, Lambda over Mits, Philly over UNC, NYC over Snake

I kept my A team except for trainees out for this week's Cup game.

Thought it would provide a good status report on some guys. Well, it did, and it didn't. Hahah.

Congrats on the win Baker! You're hard to write a report on because everytime i read anything you say about your team its the sky is falling. so you do a good job of keeping your teams true talent under the radar. however if you do look at the ENTIRE write up. The last sentence sums up the game pretty accurately. 3 point victory seems like "really close" as i said. But good win on the road. You defended the 2 guard monster really well and playing it normal vs him playing TIE helped also. But never take a win away!

My win was really close as well. I was up 9 at halftime and were rolling. Battled a tough 3rd quarter to still hold a 3 point lead and then held on down the stretch for win. I also was normal vs TIE, but i will take a road win against a top level power ranking team. Any day. My team needs better game shape.

CONTENDERS? or PRETENDERS? With the allstar game coming up signaling the middle of the season. I'd love to get our active members opinions on 2 things. First what would be your current power rankings? and then secondly or Most important we can all agree the league has 10 teams over .500 and 1 at .500 (active manager)... of those 10-11 teams who are true CONTENDERS (and why) and who are PRETENDERS (and why). What teams should really have title and promotion goals and what teams despite being competitive should maybe look at this season as not your time yet?
