Your defensive scheme and placement of your frontcourt was a nice strategy.

I went 3-2 to try and get more blocks and to shut down the outside game -- you picked the right offense to exploit that. Battle got into foul trouble and missed the 3rd Q and we couldn't recover from the huge deficit going into the 4th...although we did cut it to 8 at one point. I was running a fast offense and rarely were we able to avoid taking shots late in the shot clock. Our flow on offense will get better as the season progresses.

Hats off to you -- we were outcoached and outplayed....and yes, a bit hungover today.

Worst possible cup draw:

Not just someone from your league.

Not just someone from your league on the road.

No, your rival. From your league. On the road.

Sigh.

I've gotten NBBA teams 5 of the last 7 seasons i've been in the cup. I'm thoroughly convinced i'm the only one not blowing Marin for draws honestly. I've drawn Macleod, Bob, Zenith, Golden Horde, and now Streetlight Nightmare all between this season and season 41. So I don't wanna hear about getting bad draws...

Funny thing is though, you probably thought you wouldn't have to see him till after inter conference ends yet he sneaks up on you anyways XD

Midway through the season and the Sharks decide to list league superstar Frank Battle... can I get some commentary on why and what the outlook is for the Sharks moving forward?

Frank wants out of Wilmington. Small market blues.

The GM is still very committed to winning this season. This may be the opportunity to win the arms race in the Great 8 and acquire contributors that can be in prime game shape by playoff time. If Battle is acquired, we will seek out scorers that fit in with the Sharks' defensive scheme.

Hope you have better luck with the sale than I did with Bruce Miller (got only 1.3 million for him). When you do sell him the big cash reserve is sure fun to spend

Thanks man, I need to spread his salary to 2-3 contributors and I'll be in good shape for the stretch run if he does sell. If he doesnt sell, I'm gonna keep him for the season.
