Hey lads,
captain ezlife reporting for duty:
I've been at the helm of your team for 3 seasons now. Judging from the results I've not been extremely successful: poor performances in the WC but semi final appearance in the AC.
However, season 22 roster is probably the strongest you've had in a long time. I'll give a lot of credit to the SA and foreign managers who've done a wonderful job at training these young blokes. I'm just planning to carry on doing what I've been doing all this time: advertise the available talented players to the serious managers in both SA and Australia and try to give these players a good home.
I once had hope to make the SA community grow, I gave it up. I can't sign up and create new teams. It's not up to me. I realize the best I can do is try to keep the forums active in order to make it interesting for new managers. Bainsy and most of you have been outstanding right there.
There are not a lot of players to make a great championship team, but there is more than enough to train for the upper level. In the long run, we can try to make the senior NT more competitive through the U21. I would carry on advising managers on how to train their players, so as it can be good for both their own team and the national teams. In my opinion, it's important to find a comprise right there.
I believe I've already proven myself as an experienced manager concerning my tactics decision. The threads for discussion will remain open on the offsite forum.
I've had a lot of pleasure managing this U21. I hope I can continue this journey. I think my mate Bainsy, who I introduced last season for the senior NT job, can take this country further than ever.
When you have something that goes well, don't change it!
