I think the Bandits are ranked WAY to high, but who knows!

Not me, I'm just using my time to try and entertain, y'all.

Your power rankings will not bully me into increasing my enthusiasm! I am enthusiastic about winning long term! ..but we are slow-rolling baby - no rush. In the words of the talented psychopath Aaron Rodgers: "R-E-L-A-X"

Not sure I trust a quote by a knuckledragger. lol

Someone has to be ranked somewhere.

Now, I have the song by Bubba Sparx playing in my head.

"I found you, Miss New Bully" dafuq. lol

Saturday Night Main Event

Game 1 features the Great 8 leading, Berlin Lawnflamingos. A relatively new team, run by Tupac Van Gundy. From the build of the team, I'm leaning to this being a returning manager. They are coming off of a very impressive win over the Wahoo Warriors. Buckner Bandits although 1 and 1, are off to a strong start this season. I don't think manager, T-lit, enjoys the attention, the Bandits are garnering this early in the season. We should be in a for some awesome guard play.

And in the Main Event, Who will remain unbeaten? Both teams have had 2 games to warm up. Young-Seok Kang, is having a solid start to the season, with 33 points, 19 assists, and 8 steals. Damn. The perimeter defense of the 500 hackers, has been amazing so far this season. Will the After Shocks, be able to penetrate that unbreakable foul line wall?

A little about me.

I'm nearly a half century old. In my youth, I was a Sixers and Syracuse fan. My dad, is a Laker fan, my mom liked the Celtics. True spit. Then when I started learning about other teams, rather than local teams. I gravitated to become a life long, Wake Forest Demon Deacon fan. I follow all their sports. I follow their players into the NBA or Europe, where its hard AF to follow them.

As for the NBA, when the Sixers, got rid of Barlkey, I left as well. I followed Rodney Rogers through his career in the Association. From Denver, the 1st 8th seed to beat a 1 seed. To the Clippers, Suns, Sixers, Nets, and Celtics. Then I followed Josh Howard. Ironically on a 1 seed to get beat by 8 seed.

I watched Lebron, play in high school (on TV) and instantly knew he was the real deal and Myself, and my youngest daughter, are big fans. We were also big Luca fans, so we aren't mad at the trade. Jake Laravia, is my Deacon to follow on the Kings. Not sure what is up with his hand though. There are a player or 2, that could get drafted off this Deacons team. I think Efton Reed is an easy sub in big man, but I guess, we'll have to see.

🏀 GAME RECAP
Berlin Lawnflamingos @ Buckner Bandits
Date: April 12, 2025
Location: D. Weedman Gym
Attendance: 10,955
Final Score: Buckner Bandits 112 – Berlin Lawnflamingos 94
League Record: Buckner Bandits improve to 2-1

🔥 Bandits Blaze Early, Roll to Convincing Win Over Berlin
The Buckner Bandits came out firing and never looked back, overwhelming the Berlin Lawnflamingos in a 112-94 home victory. With a dominant first half where the Bandits outscored Berlin 66-37, the tone was set early inside the electric D. Weedman Gym.

Pushing the tempo with their "Push the Ball" offense, Buckner overwhelmed Berlin’s man-to-man defense, hitting over 54% from the field and notching 33 team assists. Even while taking it easy in game effort, the Bandits controlled the tempo and spread the wealth on offense.

⭐ Player of the Game: Mick Hunt
Mick Hunt delivered a masterclass in efficiency, scoring 25 points on 12-of-15 shooting, grabbing 6 rebounds, and playing stout defense—all in just 30 minutes. His leadership was evident from the opening tip.

“That was a team win, plain and simple,” said Hunt postgame.
“Everyone played their role, moved the ball, and defended with purpose. This is the kind of game that builds championship habits.”

📊 Key Stats
Player Stats

🧠 Coaching Notes
Balanced attack: 7 players scored 8+ points.

Ball movement: 33 assists on 46 made field goals.

Rebounding edge: Out-rebounded Berlin 47-42 despite fewer offensive boards.

Stifling start: Held Berlin to just 15 points in the 1st quarter.

🧭 Next Up
The Bandits now sit at 2-1 in the league and are showing signs of becoming a well-oiled machine. With confidence rising and chemistry clicking, they’ll look to keep building momentum in the coming stretch.

Biggest take aways from Saturday Night.

That was some great managing by, Nate, of After Shock. Both those predictions, along with Home court, kept them as the lone unbeaten. ONLY 1 UNBEATEN after 3 games. WoW. Talk about parady.

Looks like MKE Bucks injuries are really hurting him, with a very nice upset by Boston Icers.

Come on Saxon's at least field all 3 players, so others can get their training minutes.

I don't think I can pull of another one against him unless he offload some of his high paid player/s. I'm pretty sure he's around negative 30k or more.
