It isn't that impressive considering your team put in more effort and you ran an outside offense and they played 2-3 zone.

Second power rankings of the season! This one is based more off of on court performance this time, not roster talent. Same as last week, feel free to express your opinions on the rankings.
PART 1
Power Rankings:
1. Fiercekitties (5-0) Easily the top team in the league. These kitties are on track to do 22-0, and the only team that has a legit shot to take them down is Strong arm of the law, who lost to the kitties early this season. Look for a high powered rematch on March 24th.
2. Strong arm of the law (4-1) If Strong arm beat the kitties, then this uber talented team would have stayed at number 1. That isn't how it went, so we have strong arm here at 2. Nobody in the Big 8 is good enough to take this team down, and nobody in the Great 8 besides the kitties can beat this team, so I'm pretty sure a 20 win season is 98.73453% guaranteed at this point.
3. Blaserz (4-1) Moose? No problem. How bout them Bears? Nope. Tough loss to the Catzzz? Wrong. Javamen? Easy pe...WAIT, WHAT?!?! I was shocked to see the Blaserz fall to the no win (at the time) Javamen, but that's how it works sometimes. This team has been making the most of a weak Big 8, but we have to see how they do against some better competition versus the Great 8 in a couple of games.
4. Mattakeunk Moose (4-1) First off, I would like to apologize to duke, manager of the Moose, for ranking them 11th last rankings. Even duke has to be surprised by how this season is going, saying

"#11 is higher than I expected, thanks! I'm honestly hoping to find that #5 seed and just hang on."

The Moose are currently 2nd in the Big 8 and are already among the Big 8 elite. This is also my overreaction rank of the week, so the Moose may drop by next ranking.
5. Winking Mares (3-2) The Mares have been up and down this season, starting 0-2 but improving to their current record of 3-2. I guess we will have to wait longer to see what this team really is.
6. Lightning Hoopers (3-2) This team actually beat the Mares and have the same record, so you would expect the Lightning Hoopers to be ranked ahead of the Mares, but the Mares have a much better point differential, so they get ranked behind.
7. Catzzz (3-2) I had high expectations for this team, but they haven't showed much on the court. They have beat teams worse than them and lost to teams that have semi-similar talent levels.
8. Boilermakers (3-2) Some suspicious activity has been going on between this team and the Fcwboilers of USA V.4. The boilers deserve to be in the 6 spot for these rankings, but I fear that this team will go bot and celticsandmagicboss will be banned for cheating.
9. Javamen (2-3) Beat the Blasers. That basically sums up this ranking. The Javamen were on a deep fall down the rankings until yesterday night. Javamen got a great win at just the right time to stay in the middle of the power rankings.
10. GODS AND GODDESSES (1-4) Lone win was against the worst team in the league, but my GODS have lost by an average of 11.25 points to the other 4 teams (All in the top 8, 3 in the top 6), which is a win in my book.
11. Columbus Warriors (2-3) Up and down team that seems to have a little more downs. Not much else to say.

PART 2
12. Funky Town Fire (3-2) They have won 2 more games than I expected them to win all season. I guess that NBBA competitiveness still lingers in these players. This is the only rank that roster talent influenced, because they still don't have much talent, but Calum claims to have $17 million at his disposal. Who knows if he will use it.
13. Baylor Bears (1-4) Like the Catzzz, this team hasn't won the games that they should be able to. 'Nough said.
14. Panama Panthers (1-4) The Panthers have been devastated by the loss of their starting center Bahti Burkan. Still, they are loosing winnable games. They were also eliminated from the USA tourney by my favorite team, GODS AND GODDESSES!
15. The Dark Shoguns (1-4) Formerly known as Stemrel, this new franchise got off to a rough start by only putting up 40 points as a team in their debut. They did keep the Fiercekitties under 100 points, however, so they got that going for them.
16. Honolulu Chiefs (0-5) BOT ALERT! CoachMCRoss hasn't showed up to work in about a month. This team will likely be the second team to go bot this season.

Hmm. I'm pleased with the rankings adjustment, but I would agree it's an 'overreaction'. I'm still hoping for that #5 spot. And, no apology necessary for the #11 ranking, though I will say, this "ain't my first rodeo."

The way your team is playing I think you should be disappointed if you end up with the 4 seed.

If you guys were interested, I found a site called buzzer manager that helps you optimize your lineup and give some more advanced stats, and I found a list of the best players in the league based off of player efficiency. Here you go!

Just by a quick look you can see all the current playoff contenders are putting some of the best of the league on the court while multiple regulation teams don't have a single player on this list.

Can be pretty sure I won't go 22-0, nor do I have any interest in doing that. In season 27 here in IV.58, I was undefeated for a while, and all it did was put a huge target on my guys. Ended up getting jumped in one game, and finished 21-1. Then in the playoffs, I got jumped in the Great 8 conference finals. Would not have won the league anyway as Oppossums ran away with the league finals and remains comfortably up in D.3 even now. Who has the best regular season record does not necessary correlate to the ultimate league champ.

And if you guys want to know any other statistics for your team (Best rebounding team, best offensive team, who pays the highest salary prices each week, ect.) Let me know and I will see if I can find it for you!

But who do you think can take you down? I don't think any of the Big 8 teams will beat you if you make it to the finals. I think the only competition for league champ is kitties vs strong arm. Both teams are amazing and I can almost guarantee that one of you two will be league champ. There is a possibility that you don't go 22-0, but it is also possible that you do. I would also like to add that the target has been on your back since you beat strong arm. Anyway, good luck on the rest of your season!
