Wondering if this thread should be "sticky" worthy? maybe one of you fancy Mod's can decide...

How was every ones training week anyways? Personally this was on of the best in ages, 4 pops in total on my three trainees while training OD :)

ask and you shall receive / don't get too carried away though ;)

If you remember me, then I don't care if everyone else forgets.

I got nothing to write home about, training wise. One skill drop for my senior statesmen, and one pop for my 4th trainee.

My cup game division II opponent mailed it in and had just 2 players left
had to switch at the last moment from ID to RB
luckily I was ready and got 5 guys training and 3 RB pops in all

3 ID pops on 4 trainees. Missed the 48 on a fifth trainee by 3 minutes. Not great, but I'm slowly getting rid of some of the darker numbers.

ID training of 5 instead of 3 really slows things down
pick your best 3 and let them pop more often
you want to do 5...do 1 on 1 for F's or RB

I've been doing 1 on 1 every second week, but I haven't adjusted from the 2 position training when I train for other skills yet (didn't think it would make a huge difference).

Until last night I didn't have access to my computer (repairs), so I haven't been able to run a training simple. I've just been going with whatever I can pick up in forums plus trail and error.

I was hoping that with lower level trainees lacking skill in so many areas I might get some crossover training pops if I varied it a bit.

Ended up training ID. Just a stamina drop for my top player, no pops. No pops in 4 of the last 5 weeks for my oldies.

My poor 27 year old is so close to NT and the final pops are eluding him. He got the big one last week, but the others would help a lot too.

Figured I would try to get this thread going again.

What are your thoughts on this player? He is still very trainable so will be my focus for many seasons. What would you train this season and why?

Jump Shot: prominent Jump Range: respectable
Outside Def.: tremendous Handling: prominent
Driving: prominent Passing: strong
Inside Shot: respectable Inside Def.: respectable
Rebounding: awful Shot Blocking: atrocious
Stamina: average ↑ Free Throw: respectable

Experience: pitiful

I know who it is, but others may not. May want to include height and potential?

1) OD because always more OD, +2
2) PA is important for PGs of course, +2 or +3
3) JR if you intend on using other strategies besides LI, +1
4) HA to decrease turnovers and to use a little elastic effect, +2 (along with some DR)
5) IS free for guards and creates easy baskets against guards with low ID, +2
6) JS needs to be able to knock down a shot not just pass, +1

If you remember me, then I don't care if everyone else forgets.
