Team ratings don't matter in patient (i.e. Bastos an efficient 71 pts with awful OS rating and out-of-position which matters). Both my dudes were proficient GS and have 30+ JS/IS and jacked HND/DRV.

Not important I guess, just disheartening is all. Two seemingly good NT players not scoring efficiently against 2k salary dudes. Couldn't imagine them shooting over 10% if Stav or Hadley played.

True. It is a bit weird, though PG/SG shooting will never be as effective as C/PF. Higher distance (I assume at least some of those shots were long 2s and there were 15s so even without defender they are that much harder to make. Patient is bit weird as well I guess. Forcing the ball into hands of 1-2 players is rarely efficient and there might be better options especially with mismatch at every single position

Anyway, you got great PD against usually strong opponent so that got to make you happy. I am looking forward to next GS week (friday-friday). Will be an exciting one. Bot in the cup would be nice if I get past Superfreaky.....

Damn. It couldnt go any worse. Not only am I out of the cup (disaster for finances) but minute distribution got screwed because it went to OT. Looks like I overplayed my hand and trying to win all 3 games was just greedy.
3peat is out of a question now. Well, at least now I can focus on defending a championship. Still, the amount of 3 pointers he was able to score (including 2 within 12 seconds in OT when I had 5 point lead) was absolutely insane.

Congratulations to Superfreakys.

B3 gets really tough, too.

RnG and 2-3 and CT are all ridiculously ballsy. Crazy. Maybe all 2-3 needs in order to work is a CT. Who knew?

Griffins are out too. Eek,

yeah. still no idea how he shot 40% from 3. one less made and that would be a win for me. Oh well, good opponent and CT vs TIE can do that to you. About 500k lost because of that (depending from a draw) but I will manage

Well superfreaky's have a pretty solid team. Playing crunch vs tie along with damian resting a few players was likely enough. It's possible that the tactics used didn't actually help and might have even hurt the freaky's cause.

Yeah, superfreaky's look really solid for their salary. I didn't mean to say the result was weird, just the process. RnG is always iffy and 2-3 is generally a bad FG% defence. The 2-3 seemed to "work" regardless of effort. Kinda interesting.

Well - I finally broke the goose egg, (party)I can at least say "I won one game in the Naismith" - never mind it was against a bot - it is still a win. The monkey is off my back - now I can lose the rest of the games with a clean conscience. :D

Dont know if tactics helped or not, they didnt hurt, thats for sure. It was a bit freaky though watching him make 3 after 3 on an unusual rate, especially 2 withing 12 seconds in overtime against my best defenders. Ratings and ppp100 didnt point his way either. It was all effort and bit of a luck factor. Not being butthurt about it though. You gamble and you win some and you lose some. I dont really care that much about my finances (wouldnt be able to strengthen my team for BBB anyway and I am not going bankrupt) and have already won the cup twice. Now what I really want is at least quarters in BBB and league championship. Winning it once is nice but solidifying yourself as best in the country is something I want to do before focusing on training again (although I could keep my team at the same strength for couple of more seasons I am not sure if I prefer that over training homegrown talent)

Feels good to have inside iso played against me. I've used it about 20 times overall and have been confused and repulsed by how awful it is every single time. I can just about confirm it doesn't play off player IS/HND/DRV or opponent ID/IS at all. So frustrating because it sounds like such a good offence, yet the shot quality is inexplicably dreadful. So broken.

Laurent, Worley, Gaudreault 12-50 FG is laughable. Terrible game for all NT players that game with 20-90 FG.

My impression of inside iso when I've used it is that it works best when your bigs have high passing because then the seem to throw the ball back out for open jumpshots. I'm guessing the theory here is they get double teamed on the play and somebody is open. It still sucks, but that's the only time I thought it was semi effective.

Looks like a got shut out on the 3rd quarter tonight, I knew playing base offense was a mistake...
