If he don't get rid of something soon...he'll be in the negatives quite fast.

And maybe I need to lose more often...finally got this board talking again. xD

Now that you speak of it I did start training my forward....may have to do with the poor performance as well...it's ok though.

Yeah, there's no way he's keeping up with the cost of having those players. No way at all. And, not trying to be mean or anything, his record isn't exactly great for having such "dominant" players either.

I kind of made the same mistake as him last season because the very first thing I did was buy this really expensive trainer that drove all my money away. It really sucked. Luckily I changed that before it got too late.

And dude, like I said your 88's are no slouch. Out of all the teams in the league I fear you and Leflore, so our matchup after the allstar break is gonna be a big game.

And the training shouldn't matter unless he was out of position as well. If the forward you were training was playing the forward spot he should've been okay. Maybe your gameshape is down or something?

Also, I was just looking at the 88's press release and it got me thinking about the draft this year and the rookies we got. What'd you guys think about them? I mean I personally was very pleased with one of my pickups. The other two, not so much, but my first rounder has been a valuable part of my lineup and would easily be my starting point guard if it wasn't for the guy I bought my first season.

You're right....my biggest problem is my enthusiasm..it's currently at 1.....yes 1!! which is 'worn out'....so it looks like i'll be playing TIE (take it easy) for the most part through the end of the season..and thankfully my next games are against the #4, #8, #8, #6,#7..so I should get away with TIE for a little while...and still really wouldn't matter since I'm basically guaranteed a playoff spot at this point. I'd rather have my enthusiasm at around 10-11 and have a .500 record than to be .950 record with crap enthusiasm..cause then someone could easily crunch time me and I get killed in the PO..

I didn't do much scouting last season..forgot about it. lol...so all the players I got were turrible..So I cut them asap. Need all the little cash I can get.

Ahh! 1? That's not good haha. Take it easy is never bad though, especially with a team as talented as yours. You should be able to get away with the TIE against them for sure.

And yeah, I actually scouted a fair bit but I picked so late that it didn't really help much other than my backup point guard. I probably shouldn't have poured as much money into scouting this year as I've been doing honestly...

I didn't really get anything worth wasting training time on. My free agents and players I started with last season has been has been my focus. I fired a draftee and bought a young PG from a S.African team I scrimmaged. Buy young, buy cheap, like the Tampa Bay Rays and get em trained!

Haha I understand that. My two other draftees were absolutely terrible. Like inept in absolutely everything. Needless to say they were sold almost instantly. However, like I've said, I'm very thankful for my rookie Oscar McGuire though. Eight points, four assists, a steal, a block, and 3 rebounds all in 23 minutes a game? I'll take that any day haha

Well, in recent news, the starters of the 88's almost toppled the best of the Great 8. The 88's are definitely a strong team haha

Also, that Kutepov guy on Bacon Ballers can flat out score. That dude is scary for Division V. Throw him on a team with a supporting cast like my team, Leflore, or the 88's and you're winning a championship for sure. I really want to know what his stats are and how much they paid to get him.

That dude is crazy good....I know his numbers for this game were going to be good since in an all star game there is not really any defense factor into it as you can tell by the score and the number of fouls committed. But he is a beast.

He stole the show in the All star game and the 3 pt contest winning it back to back

The Big 8 (88, Bacon Baller, etc) is definitely better than the Great 8 from top to bottom....which only has my team and Dr Trans. that's even over .500 the others are at least 3 games under.

I will say that I hope Bacon Baller didn't pay too much for him....because when you're just starting off 3 or 4 solid players is better than 1 great and a bunch of scrubs.
