Hey shon,

I am sure ezlife (SA U21 coach), will contact you in the next day or so if he hasn't already. If he hasn't left one by tomorrow night I will send you a bbmail with some stuff.

Ps. I'm the assistant to ezlife. Just incase you were wondering who this random is lol

hey i was gone for the week end, did some scouting last week and i've already contacted a lot of managers but I obviously forgot about you!

thanks for posting anyway, I will take care of your situation and suggest you a training plan.

that being said, managers shall not inbox you about elections. this is not allowed as far as i remember.

on the other hand, i think everyone in SA can have his word. its not because you're not experienced that you have to be shy. read the forums, ask questions if you have any. we are also here to help you out mate!

cheers

Hey guys, I'm back!

Sorry for not participating in the last season, but you know college takes up a lot of time.

I think this initiative is perfect and was actually a part of my plans for the country, although there were only 2/3 active users and only Ebene came to the forum.

Anyway, I'm here to help in what I can ;)

according to the game manual:

As part of the agreement giving you shared television revenue, you also agree to pay a minimum total salary, shown on the Economy page. If your players earn less than this total, this minimum salary will be deducted anyway. The salary floor depends upon your league's television revenue. The salary floor does not apply to new teams for their first sixteen weeks.

It is a game mechanic to stop teams just tanking the whole season with a hopeless side, ruining the fun for the other teams and making a massive profit. Everyone knows the NBA has a salary cap which is the maximum limit a team is allowed to spend on player salaries, what they don't know is that the NBA also has a salary floor.

The NBA salary cap for the 2010-11 season was $58.04 million.
The NBA salary floor, is 85% of the salary cap in 2011–12 creating a very tight margin.
Teams that violated the cap rules faced fines of up to $5 million, cancellation of contracts and/or loss of draft picks, and are prohibited from signing free agents for more than the league minimum.

Very strict, Buzzerbeater is much more free and open but you may as well have salaries near the salary floor as you will be paying them anyway.
