NBBA Season 70 – Day 5 Recap (Saturday, November 1, 2025)
by Buzz Beat Daily

ExplosiveBubbleWrap Stands Alone on the Road
After a week of data hiccups, the NBBA’s action roared back on Day 5 — and it was all about home-court dominance. Seven of eight hosts defended their courts, with ExplosiveBubbleWrap emerging as the only road team to pick up a win, toppling The LA Lions 97–87. Manager E.B.W.’s squad executed with trademark precision, forcing turnovers and maintaining composure in key stretches. The win — powered by balanced scoring and strong defense — shows that the returning NBBA franchise may have the stability needed to stick around longer than their first stint.

Mill City Thunder Obliterate Jumpstop Jumpers
It was a night to forget for Jumpstop Jumpers as Mill City Thunder dismantled them 125–31 in a record-setting blowout. TonyC’s team put up absurd numbers — 125 points, 33 assists, 19 steals, and 12 blocks — showing no mercy from start to finish. Rookie star Rodger “Cis” Cisneros and teammate Q led the charge, while the Thunder’s defense suffocated any hint of resistance. After a rocky start to the season, Mill City sent a message to the entire league: they’re back in championship form.

Bashiti Dominates as ETBU Rebounds
After back-to-back losses, the ETBU Tigers roared back at home, crushing 10inch Vertical 106–82. F. Bashiti delivered one of the best performances of the season so far, posting 31 points, 18 rebounds, and 4 assists for a monster 47 efficiency. With D. Pinhal and L. Feaster spacing the floor, ETBU looked closer to the high-powered unit that entered Season 70 with $1 million payroll ambitions.

Sohn Torches Wobbles as Splash Gang Rolls
Splash Gang caught fire at home, dismantling Wobbles 108–74 behind a season-high 43 points from D. Sohn. The sharpshooter was unstoppable, hitting from all levels in a vintage Splash Gang performance that reminded everyone of their offensive pedigree. Manager Plasma’s youth movement continues to blend beautifully with his established system — fast, fearless, and lethal from deep.

Stark Contrast Steady at 3–2
The Stark Contrast continued to find their rhythm, taking care of business at home with a 99–85 win over the Kings Knights. J. Valentin led all scorers with 38 points, while the Starks’ defensive rotations stifled the Knights’ interior game. Now sitting at 3–2, the defending runners-up are showing steady progress after an up-and-down start, with their offense once again looking fluid and confident.

Delaware Earns First NBBA Win in 11 Seasons
The Delaware 87ers finally broke through, earning their first NBBA victory since returning to the top league — a thrilling 103–100 road win over the Virginia Cavaliers. Veteran E. Shelton drilled six threes, and newcomer Patrick Randle continued to impress inside. For a franchise long known for loyalty and patience, this was a milestone moment and proof that their all-USA core can hang with anyone.

Silverbacks Surprise TarTeam
Silverbacks stunned last year’s runners-up TarTeam 75–65 in a defensive masterpiece. Center R. Jones tallied 8 blocks, leading a team effort that totaled 20 rejections — a number rarely seen at any level of play. The victory was Silver’s first signature win of the year and a reminder that the Great 8 will be anything but predictable this season.

Continuation of NBBA Season 70 – Day 5 Recap…

Lords Keep Rolling
Los Angeles Lords continued their strong form with a convincing 107–82 win over Visionaries. E. Dahan shined once again, earning “Best Performer” honors with a 22.5 rating, while A. Fornos and O. Gesla provided stability on both ends. Under manager GagneOutWest, the Lords are quietly positioning themselves among the most consistent early-season teams in the Big 8.

Final Word
Day 5 was defined by home-court dominance — with ExplosiveBubbleWrap the lone road victor. Mill City Thunder’s 125-point outburst was the talk of the league, while ETBU, Stark Contrast, and Splash Gang all reaffirmed their top-tier form. The Silverbacks grabbed a signature defensive win, and Delaware’s first NBBA victory in 11 seasons provided the emotional spark of the night. The standings are beginning to stabilize, but one thing’s certain — no team can afford to take a night off in Season 70.

NBBA Season 70 – Day 6 Recap (Tuesday, November 4, 2025)
by Buzz Beat Daily

Delaware 87ers the Lone Road Winners; Bubbles Keep Rolling Without Dowell
Day 6 of Season 70 was all about home dominance once again — except for the Delaware 87ers, who stood alone as the only road victors. Meanwhile, ExplosiveBubbleWrap continued their impressive run despite the absence of their team legend. Some contenders, however, opted for strategic rest with a focus on the upcoming Cup action.

Delaware 87ers Stay Hot on the Road
The Delaware 87ers notched their second straight win, and their first road triumph of the season, by beating the Jumpstop Jumpers 98–69. The all-USA squad showcased its chemistry, with Patrick Randle and Erik Shelton leading the way on both ends. Delaware’s patient rebuild seems to be paying off — a composed, balanced performance from a team still rediscovering its NBBA footing.

ExplosiveBubbleWrap Continue Streak Minus “Bloody” Dowell
No Dowell? No problem. ExplosiveBubbleWrap demolished Splash Gang 126–51 at home in one of the most lopsided wins of the season. D. Vega delivered an MVP-level stat line — 26 points, 25 rebounds, and 7 assists — as EBW’s squad put on a clinic with 40 assists, 12 steals, and 15 blocks. Splash Gang, resting several starters ahead of their Cup game, were never in it. Still, the Bubbles’ execution and depth stood out, marking them as one of the league’s most efficient teams early on.

Cavaliers Crush Mill City Thunder
The Virginia Cavaliers handed Mill City Thunder a stunning 115–39 loss in a game defined by pure dominance on the boards (68 rebounds). Mill City, opting to rest key stars including Rodger “Cis” Cisneros and Q ahead of their Cup matchup, looked flat and overmatched. Even so, the Cavaliers’ discipline and depth shone through, cementing them as the NBBA’s current powerhouse.

Wobbles Win Big in LA
The young and energetic Wobbles pulled off an impressive 100–87 road win over The LA Lions. P. Blum was sensational with 13 assists, orchestrating a balanced team attack. Manager Toast’s group continues to impress with its growth and composure, proving they’re not just happy to be in the NBBA — they’re here to compete.

TarTeam and Kings Knights Earn Statement Wins
TarTeam went into Los Angeles and took down the Lords 92–82, led by their trademark defense and pace control. Meanwhile, the Kings Knights defeated the ETBU Tigers 112–96 behind another strong outing from J. Carandil. Both clubs continue to reinforce their status among the league’s steadiest and most well-coached sides.

10inch Vertical Topples Stark Contrast
10inch Vertical stunned Stark Contrast 92–77 behind elite execution and second-chance scoring. Even with J. Valentin’s 45-point explosion, Stark’s defensive issues persisted, allowing SaulTNuts’ squad to pull away late. The loss drops the Starks to 3–3, and they’ll need to tighten up defensively to stay in contention.

Visionaries Bounce Back
After a sluggish start to the season, Visionaries looked rejuvenated in their 88–70 road victory over the Silverbacks. Q. Laperche dominated with 26 points, 23 boards, and 5 blocks — good for a 54 efficiency rating. Manager Peluin’s adjustments paid off as the Visionaries regained rhythm and confidence heading into the Cup.

Final Word
Day 6 reinforced the power of home-court advantage — with Delaware 87ers the lone team to steal one away. ExplosiveBubbleWrap continued to impress without “Bloody” Dowell, while Splash Gang and Mill City Thunder took calculated losses in preparation for their Cup battles. Wobbles and Kings Knights kept momentum rolling, and Virginia Cavaliers again looked u

@SaulTNuts Brother, your team is my kryptonite… I can’t win against your squad. We were looking good the first half and then you had to injure my starting SG and it was down hill from there. Seems like it’s time for Knights to think about full tanking mode.

NBBA Season 70 – Day 7 Recap (Saturday, November 8, 2025)
by Buzz Beat Daily

10inch Vertical and Mill City Thunder Win on the Road; Knights Fall Again to Their Kryptonite
Day 7 saw home teams dominate once again — except for two. 10inch Vertical and Mill City Thunder stood tall as the only road victors, while several top contenders reasserted their status in convincing fashion. TarTeam, Virginia Cavaliers, and The LA Lions each delivered statement wins, and ExplosiveBubbleWrap continued their unbeaten surge despite still missing star forward Dowell.

10inch Vertical Sting the Kings Knights Yet Again
It’s becoming a trend the Knights can’t shake — 10inch Vertical once again proved to be their kryptonite, taking a thrilling 91–89 win in front of the Knights’ home crowd on national TV. E. Papakonstantinou anchored the victory with 18 points and 18 rebounds, while Vertical’s poise in crunch time sealed the deal. The Knights dropped to 0–3 lifetime against SaulTNuts’ squad, sparking speculation that a tanking pivot could be on the horizon for the frustrated franchise.

TarTeam Obliterates Shorthanded Visionaries
TarTeam unleashed pure devastation in a 142–27 demolition of the Visionaries. Manager Peluin rested all starters ahead of their upcoming National Cup clash against the Kings Knights, and TarTeam — led by I. Fisher’s 35 points and 7 triples — took full advantage. Their 34 assists and suffocating defense turned the night into a historic blowout, showing just how dangerous TarZip’s machine can be when firing on all cylinders.

Virginia Cavaliers Keep the Momentum Rolling
The Cavaliers crushed Jumpstop Jumpers 125–61, dominating on the glass (63 rebounds) and in transition. W. Saucedo impressed again with a 16-point, 17-rebound, 3-steal outing, while the Cavs’ depth proved overwhelming. The win keeps Virginia among the NBBA’s elite as they continue to blend experience with explosive pace.

Mill City Thunder Bounce Back with a Road Win
After resting players earlier in the week for the Cup, Mill City Thunder rebounded with a steady 98–82 road win over the Delaware 87ers. The champs looked refocused and composed, with TonyC’s squad methodically controlling the tempo throughout. It was a quiet but confident reminder that Mill City remains a force whenever they decide to turn it on.

Silverbacks Outlast Lords in a Gritty Battle
The Silverbacks took down the Los Angeles Lords 90–78 behind D. Carmona’s 31-point masterclass. Their defense once again proved to be their backbone, forcing the Lords into tough shots and dominating the half-court rhythm. The win helps Silver steady their season and reassert themselves as one of the Great 8’s most balanced squads.

Stark Contrast Hit Their Stride at 4–3
The Stark Contrast climbed above .500 with a 91–81 win over ETBU Tigers. J. Valentin was electric once again, and Stark’s trademark efficiency down the stretch made the difference. ETBU’s H. Kangshan grabbed a monstrous 23 rebounds, but it wasn’t enough to slow the steady resurgence of astarkfuture’s group. With their fourth win, Stark Contrast are officially back in the mix.

The LA Lions Maul Splash Gang’s Backups
The LA Lions dismantled a resting Splash Gang lineup 124–45. With their starters sitting to stay fresh for a National Cup matchup, Splash Gang never stood a chance. A. Gonca was unstoppable, posting 12 points, 16 boards, and 7 blocks, while P. Holtz tallied 10 assists. E. Silver’s -21 efficiency and 10 turnovers marked one of the worst performances of the season.
