I'm not overreacting to a 2 point loss at the buzzer at home. I wouldn't do that. I'm not overreacting to my starting backcourt shooting a combined 6 of 31. I'm not overreacting to my starting power forward going 2-13. I'm not overreacting to getting no production on offense from the bench.

Moving Carlos Frias, Douglas Simmons, and Gian-Luca Twaruschek meant the second unit would not have much firepower.

We will be shrewd with our acquisitions. We will treat this season as something of a reload.

By season's end, we hope to have a larger role for PG Jacob Chacón and SF Zvi Kenet. New acquisition SF Honorijus Audinys will continue his development into a leader on the second unit. Either Davide Spada or Rafet Özver will cement themselves as indispensable. Walt Pasman will evolve into yet another role. And we'll seek more firepower.

Just know that The Gang That Can't Shoot Straight understands that if we can't score, no one will. And we still fully expect to be a deep run in the playoffs.

My team played the best game I think they could considering the defense it was facing. Not sure I can replicate that.

The only thing I got out of that game was the training minutes I needed to get.

The good: The defense showed up in the second half.

The worse: For the first time in a while, I have no idea what the identity of this team is.

Houston, we have a problem...

Ralph Tamm has been underwhelming. He was acquired with the idea that he'd replace some scoring punch lost from the bench. At 22, he was acquired for now and the future. His offensive skillset is one we covet at his position.

Juan Jose Gallardo seems to not want to shoot much. We need him to be more aggressive. A move to a backup role may be in order.

Honorijus Audinys is almost everything we want in a player at his position. Almost is doing a lot of heavy lifting. A postion move may be in order.

Ladislav Dolnicek had his best game of the season so far in limited time. Can't keep him on the bench, but if he's gonna cook off the bench, we might have to find a way to facilitate that.

Antti Reinholm is playing a solid backup point guard, but he was much better as the backup at small forward last season. Might have to accelerate the development of Jacob Chacon at point guard, but we need to get the bigs sorted properly.

The defense has been uncharacteristically craptastic. Probably gonna have to overpay to get the help I want. Severely.

First, get defense back on track. Then worry about the offense. We're better than this, and I cannot tolerate this kind of underperformance on defense.

Pleasantly surprised by the 6-0 start to the season. I fully expect to finish 15-7, maybe 16-6, but I’ll gladly take what’s looking like an undefeated first 1/3 of the season

He's up for grabs. It would be a travesty for him IMHO to sell for less than 300k w/ those stats and still some time left in his career to retain them. I'm presently inundated with players @ his position.
