Date: April 12, 2025
Location: D. Weedman Gym
Attendance: 10,955
Final Score: Buckner Bandits 112 – Berlin Lawnflamingos 94

🔥 Bandits Blaze Early, Roll to Convincing Win Over Berlin
The Buckner Bandits came out firing and never looked back, overwhelming the Berlin Lawnflamingos in a 112-94 home victory. With a dominant first half where the Bandits outscored Berlin 66-37, the tone was set early inside the electric D. Weedman Gym.

Pushing the tempo with their "Push the Ball" offense, Buckner overwhelmed Berlin’s man-to-man defense, hitting over 54% from the field and notching 33 team assists. Even while taking it easy in game effort, the Bandits controlled the tempo and spread the wealth on offense.

⭐ Player of the Game: Mick Hunt
Mick Hunt delivered a masterclass in efficiency, scoring 25 points on 12-of-15 shooting, grabbing 6 rebounds, and playing stout defense—all in just 30 minutes. His leadership was evident from the opening tip.

“That was a team win, plain and simple,” said Hunt postgame.
“Everyone played their role, moved the ball, and defended with purpose. This is the kind of game that builds championship habits.”

Biggest take aways from Saturday Night.

That was some great managing by, Nate, of After Shock. Both those predictions, along with Home court, kept them as the lone unbeaten. ONLY 1 UNBEATEN after 3 games. WoW. Talk about parady.

Looks like MKE Bucks injuries are really hurting him, with a very nice upset by Boston Icers.

Come on Saxon's at least field all 3 players, so others can get their training minutes.

I don't think I can pull of another one against him unless he offload some of his high paid player/s. I'm pretty sure he's around negative 30k or more.

And offtopic: I noticed your arena has training court and gym, How much do those cost?

My tier 3 gym cost 1 million to build, and I only have a tier 1 Training court, $500K.

Each tier costs $5k a week. So my 4 tiers cost me $20K, a week.

Well said Double R! Tier 3 Gym and tier 1 Training court...

The tier 3 gym will get you good cross training, and the tier 1 training court will bump your FT over the course of your dreaftees career.

To answer your other question, to increase merch you can invest in Merch Store. I have a tier 3 one and I believe that I am getting a Net +8K (remember each tier costs 5K weekly)

To increase homegrown and local, you just draft your players and build them up.

I am a "homegrown" team, so my entire team is built through the draft/original players.

Its a different way to play the game because I cant just go grab someone off the transfer portal.

Not better, not worse, just different. :-)

Enjoy the game and the main thing is to build up your arena! :-)

So we have 4 play-in games, for 2 spots, with 2 more games on Friday, for the last 2 spots.

in the East, Orlando takes on Atlanta. I don't see the Magic losing, but if Trey, is on one, then maybe.

in the 9-10 game, the Heat take on the Bulls. I really hate betting against the Heat.

In the West. Memphis travels to San Fransico, to take on the Warriors. Not sure of Jimmy Buckets knee, he got hurt in the Overtime, on Sunday. The Grizz have been playing better the last couple of games. I think GS, plays 1 more game to get in.

Sacramento should light the beam, against the Mavs. But the Mavs do have more experience.

Anyone else have any thoughts, on the 1st 4 play-in games?

Tuesday Night Shockers!

If the R3ap3rs aren't around After the Shock, is there an After Shock? Inquiring minds want to know. After shocking Leaque IV.32, the After Shock look to remain the lone undefeated team. Will the R3AP3RS, 1 man band of Nic "Red" Herring, be able to blemish the electrifying start of the After Shock?

After Shock by 17, o/u 233

The Boston Icers travel to Berlin, to sight see the wonderful, Lawnflamingos. Both teams, have had highs and lows, already in this young season. The Icers defeated the MKE Bucks, but fell to the Vatican Vipers. The Lawnflamingos, topped the Wahoo Warriors and lost to the Bandits from Buckner.

Good Luck tonight!

not a big NBA guy, but honestly the playoffs are only time I will watch... those guys are just sooo good when they are red-lineing and just going all out...

I dont have a preference who wins... My dad enjoys the celtics, so we will watch them... Mitchell from cle is a UofL kid so we will pull for him too.
