I guess you deserved it for our OT thriller. Heck, we had a few Canadian users watching the game.

Still no O'Connor. How did I know that 1 week injury would be 10+.
So now he's useless for next week too with horrible GS.
Man I needed him back this game. Sigh.
If you remember me, then I don't care if everyone else forgets.

Does the Blenk-Syndicalists boxscore look screwy to anyone else?
Syn is already playing without one of his 100K starters and loses his starter SF 7 mins into the game who is replaced by a scrub for the final 41 minutes. Playing on the road and the same enthusiasm against what looks like Blenks best lineup and he blows him out? Big matchup rating adv for Blenk too. This one just looks wrong.

I hit some shots that I shouldn't have made and so there was some luck involved, but I think folks may be sleeping on how good my team is at the moment.

I know you have very good team, you've recently added 2 of the top players in the world at their positions but you ended playing a 4K scrub, on the road, for 41 minutes at SF against one of the top rosters in the league and still blew him out. His SF Parn, one of the top 2 SF's in the entire league and having proficient game somehow shot just 4-13 against him. Parn averages 16-8-3 shooting almost 50% but was held to 12-4-1 by a scrub? And Kumar is great but had poor game shape after the transfer.
No doubt playing 3-2 vs Princeton helped you but his A team still should have exploited your scrub SF and your team defense should have been severely weakened having to cover for him all game. If you were on the losing end here I guarantee that you'd be scratching your head over this one. It just doesn't make sense Fresh.
damian said something to me last season that I didn't believe at the time but it's starting to make more sense. He said that having an in-game injury to one of your star players doesn't actually effect the outcome of the game had he remained healthy. I shrugged it off at the time but that would definitely offer an explanation for this game.

Yeah, logically this game doesn't make much sense. In a 3-2 zone, that scrub SF would be picked on all game. Blenk should have been able to exploit that part of the zone all day. BB doesn't always work like that though.

Hard to actually dissect that game. I think Blenkinsop should won though, yeah.
side note: Syndicalists' BC has a terrifying roster.

I didn't get a chance to watch the entire game, I probably will at some point to see what happened. But from what I gather, it probably also had to do with his offense; he ran princeton, which generally runs through the PF or C. My PF and C have good/really good OD, and that may have hindered him from finding the mismatch. That said, there are some oddities in this game (like 3pt shooting and rebounding) and it would be nice to find out if it was just a case of a statistical anomaly, or if there is something else, like injuries don't affect the out of the game.

There's definitely an arms race going on in Naismith now. Current payroll totals:
Pszczyna Team $940,008
Syndicalists% BC $906,975
LPP $866,229
Green Machines $832,359
The Hounds $796,288
Blenkinsop $740,238
Supreme $704,892
Herman Griffins $656,523
ragin stajans $580,046
Rajin appears to be the smartest team in that list because he's the only one that has been selling. Saskatoon has been a seller all season too, he's down to $422K.

I'll never be 12-1 with this much money and flexibility again. I've actually been debating going for it, although it's unlikely now that I've waited so long. My remaining schedule is death.
I think a lot of teams are set up for sustained success so I wouldn't count on next season being much different.
