Haha I understand that. My two other draftees were absolutely terrible. Like inept in absolutely everything. Needless to say they were sold almost instantly. However, like I've said, I'm very thankful for my rookie Oscar McGuire though. Eight points, four assists, a steal, a block, and 3 rebounds all in 23 minutes a game? I'll take that any day haha

Well, in recent news, the starters of the 88's almost toppled the best of the Great 8. The 88's are definitely a strong team haha

Also, that Kutepov guy on Bacon Ballers can flat out score. That dude is scary for Division V. Throw him on a team with a supporting cast like my team, Leflore, or the 88's and you're winning a championship for sure. I really want to know what his stats are and how much they paid to get him.

That dude is crazy good....I know his numbers for this game were going to be good since in an all star game there is not really any defense factor into it as you can tell by the score and the number of fouls committed. But he is a beast.

He stole the show in the All star game and the 3 pt contest winning it back to back

The Big 8 (88, Bacon Baller, etc) is definitely better than the Great 8 from top to bottom....which only has my team and Dr Trans. that's even over .500 the others are at least 3 games under.

I will say that I hope Bacon Baller didn't pay too much for him....because when you're just starting off 3 or 4 solid players is better than 1 great and a bunch of scrubs.

I felt my starters did really good in the game last night.

I forgot how many points are scored in the All-Star game lol

I will say that guy on Bacon Ballers went off, I hope I can contain him enough to keep 1st in my division. I am nervous about the games I play against you guys though. I play with my brother EEDSON and my friends Dunkface and Rhino2421 and we always talk about BB now. Nice to talk to people in my own league!

His numbers are amazing during the regular season too! Going into my game I figured he averaged big numbers just because the competition in our league isn’t that great. Nope, he dropped 43 on me for my only regular season loss other than against your team. The guy can just flat out score.

And yeah, it’s a two team conference for sure. Nothing against the one guy on the Great 8 Allstar team that wasn’t from one of our teams, but he did absolutely nothing in the game. All of the best players belong to our teams haha. If I would have played my actual starters in some of the scrub games instead of working on training my players I’m fairly confident my PG and SG could have both made the team as well.

And yeah, I bet he dropped a ton of money on that player. It wouldn’t surprise me if Bacon Ballers is hurting financially right now. I can’t see how he’s keeping up with his weekly wages unless the players around him are dirt cheap. (I’m too lazy to look too)

And 88’s, your starters played very well. And I think you’ll still get first in your division. I’d just throw a perimeter defense and a strong outside defender at him and you should shut his team down. His supporting cast just isn’t good enough to keep up with you.

I was curious so I checked it out... he spent $401,300 on the guy. Not a huge amount necessarily but...

Anyway, that wasn't what I found interesting... the Bacon Ballers have been in the league (V.51) for 7 seasons (not counting this one) with 6 being full and he's never advanced. He has spent about $300k more than he has sold players for so he isn't getting money that way (he did once sell a guy for over 800k). His arena is small and never comes close to selling out (typically under 4600k in attendance). However, if he hasn't spent money on coaches then maybe he is okay in the money factor.

Don't want to just talk about the guy, but 7 seasons?

(misstated his attendance originally so edited it)

... and not to obsess, but since I'm a numbers and stats guy... His player salaries total $79,884 which is quite a bit higher than me (under 50k) and the league average which is about 66k. However, if he doesn't pay for any scouting or coaches than he may still be making descent money despite low attendance (His stadium is about 1k larger than mine so considering the number of seasons he has been here he hasn't spent much on his stadium either).

Overall, without knowing anything more specific than what your allowed to see... my guess is that he is probably fine with his money (and if he has actually made money each season, could be stockpiling cash for a future run).

You're probably right..he could still manage them a little better though.

I probably have the worst income right now...at -$1000 and my player salaries are 90k. still have a decent amount of cash so it's no biggie. by next season I want to have at least 1.5 mil and sell a few players in the offseason.

Wow. Thanks Marv. That all makes me think that he really is just saving up until he can buy players for the next division. Either that... Or what if he's using it as a second team to get good players and sell them from? (O_O) Probably not, but the conspiracy theorist in me has to wonder haha.

And Jordan, at one point I was -$300,000. Right now I'm -$32,000 and only making $11,000 a week. So I bet you're not all that bad off. And I'm probably going to sell a few players soon too. As much as I love my two bigs (Frolian Mier and Andrey Boltenko) I paid way more money than I should have for them, especially as they get older and older.
