Impersonating a GM is not allowed. I am going to have to fine you for that ;)

I think all of your money and the retirement of two of your players is sufficient.

Ohhhh, and Good luck in the B3!!

Indeed, the game would be less challenging with out these aspects. And I do love the fact, like march madness, upsets exist -- that's exciting. Heck, even injuries I'm fine with. I just hate thrown games...but there doesn't seem to be a way around it without ruining the strategic flair of this game.

I am much better now, but for the first few years I played this game I was totally addicted....The Real Time element was both awesome and excruciating! Seemed like it took forever in between games....but nothing sucked more than be chomping at the bit for your next game knowing you have to punt it...or even worse, looking forward to that next game and when it starts you realize your opponent either punted or forgot to set a lineup resulting in a walkover.

I thought it added an artistic flair to my username. I use the word flair to make me sound important.

i think it is possible to assemble a deep team at the NBBA level that could field a competitive team three games a week.

the details are tricky, and at this level, you'd have to deal with teams who are out of the Cup, which can provide a real tactical advantage over squads pursuing the Cup and NBBA title (i thought Toronto was doing this last season -- i was wrong).

but the point is that i think that in theory a team could be assembled that did not have to punt any games during the season and still win most.

Of course I pick the year BB imposes a luxury tax to decide to train some top flight American prospects. If I have to drop 10 million on a trainee I am going to be irritated.

I have received RB/JR pops using 1v1f, yes.

10% of your total training every week goes to a random skill...1v1 F does not specifically train them

Perhaps I'm wrong. I'm basing my information off the training results of my three trainees; they've experienced multiple JR/RB pops while training 1v1f -- a fairly strong sample size. I'd have to research this further, tracking pops from 1v1f on the off site.

It is strictly from the cross training program. I did tons of 1v1F on Alasi and Thomas. Alasi got a SB and a JR pop during training and Thomas got a passing pop while training 1v1F. I have a couple years of data on those two. 1v1F gives a near one to one ratio to DR and handling. In the early years they popped JS and IS every five or six weeks. I bought those two looking for prospects with average or respectable JS, JR, OD and ID. Knowing I would pump 1 v1 F. Their driving and handling were terrible. Alasi finished at 19 DR. I can also tell you as a 28 year old guard training 1v1 F as a 28 year old it takes 11 weeks to get a pop. JS, IS, DR, and HA are all you get out of it. But since there are four skills, 10% randomly going to only six skills will help with cross training pops more frequently.
