*sigh*
Really thought I had that one, HCA, higher team effort, one of the opponent's key player gets hurt...

Good game Mr. Burns!

Aaand my search for a ridiculously expensive big man begins. Awful.

Wouldn't it be so much easier to be in the other conference right about now? I had a good ridiculously expensive big man in my sights but just missed the end of their auction, and ended up getting a much crappier player for way too much out of frustration.

You guys still have a lot of time to get a few wins and both can be fine. You both will probably be okay in a relegation series and with Above and Beyonds being a dick, you just need to have as many wins as him and you are fine.

If I play a relegation series, which is pretty much guaranteed, I think I'll just lay down and take the demotion. I'd make more progress that way than losing additional piles of money just surviving up here. I'm fine with that... I do need a full rebuild anyways.

Don't be mad, just quit causing all of your competitors to lose training. It is a simple solution!!

Everyone you have played so far this season should be mad. And I hope that my pestering actually forces you to play your best line up to beat me :)

I'm afraid of a situation like last season in the Great 8 where even 9 wins could get you auto-relegated, so I'm trying to pick up some wins before things settle down and we get a better picture of the standings. I also would not feel safe without HCA in a relegation series against whoever would land 6th in the great 8 this season, 6th place will have plenty of time to build their reserves to make a purchase right before the season ends.

Well the top 4 in your conference are pretty set. It will be interesting to see if someone decides to tank, which is very common in Naismith the last few seasons. With Above and Beyonds having forfeited some games, everyone will have a tie breaker on him. I think a good strategy is to wait until teams in the cup start to die down, and try to pile up wins against teams that save players for cup games. There is a pattern which you should figure out soon.

But 6th place probably guarantees you stay up. But it has happened in the past where a team has tanked for an entire season and then bought players specifically for the relegation series. They did lose though.

Hmm... and it looks like above and beyond is forfeiting his game against a bot in the cup game. Regretting my purchase more and more.

Well he is selling all his players... Maybe the end is near?
