Of course I pick the year BB imposes a luxury tax to decide to train some top flight American prospects. If I have to drop 10 million on a trainee I am going to be irritated.

10% of your total training every week goes to a random skill...1v1 F does not specifically train them

Perhaps I'm wrong. I'm basing my information off the training results of my three trainees; they've experienced multiple JR/RB pops while training 1v1f -- a fairly strong sample size. I'd have to research this further, tracking pops from 1v1f on the off site.

It is strictly from the cross training program. I did tons of 1v1F on Alasi and Thomas. Alasi got a SB and a JR pop during training and Thomas got a passing pop while training 1v1F. I have a couple years of data on those two. 1v1F gives a near one to one ratio to DR and handling. In the early years they popped JS and IS every five or six weeks. I bought those two looking for prospects with average or respectable JS, JR, OD and ID. Knowing I would pump 1 v1 F. Their driving and handling were terrible. Alasi finished at 19 DR. I can also tell you as a 28 year old guard training 1v1 F as a 28 year old it takes 11 weeks to get a pop. JS, IS, DR, and HA are all you get out of it. But since there are four skills, 10% randomly going to only six skills will help with cross training pops more frequently.

1:1 DR:HA ratio is actually just for short players. For tall players its somewhere around 3:2. That ratio are reversed for short and tall players for 1v1 Guards.

I have entirely too much experience watching old farts ratings drop on Friday mornings.....And not that I do a lot of training of old farts...but I experienced a first this morning:
Because of the amount of players that received minutes this week, I went with 1n1 training for guards, which included Nemesio getting full training. Despite the week of training, he dropped in Driving

Fix'd your post.
I think there's a strong case that training after age 33 ends up having a negative effect. Of course, I think Marin has claimed that's not the case, but I do't know for sure and it sure seems consistent with what I've seen.

Whoa, too much training talk in here. I don't do training. I'll check back in a couple days to see if a subject near and dear to my heart comes up...like overpriced players on the TL.

Sorry, can't post in-thread pictures anymore like all you fancy mofos.
On a related note, did any of you realize the season's about to start? Who knew?
