From II.4

The Saskatoon Storm, formally the Saskatoon Slam, are the quick riser of the group. They've been playing BB for only 4 full seasons having started part way through season 19 and have already won 3 championships, one in each division. They also won their D2 crown with the smallest payroll of the 4 new teams at a paltry $471K with a relatively young squad. I would expect more Canucks to be added to the roster and they look like a immediate threat to make the playoffs in the Big 8.

To be honest, I feel sorry for St.Louis Beasts. They had a great roster, went 22-0 in regular season and lost in final game. And if I am aware, thats second time in a row.

By the way, my payroll was below 800k. It was salary update that hit me :/

I am not going to lie to you. I want to achieve the most I can this season and hoping for no injuries. Would be great to replace Chiappori with some Canadian big, but That would probably make me buy 120k salary big, so another 30k in salary. Merchandise most liekly wouldnt cover that.

Bradshaw and Diffley will still receive full training, just mostly 2 position (RB, 1 on 1, will try to squeeze in PA, OD, ID at some point in easier weeks)

also, it would be awesome to have some kind of review/preview thread for each league game. It wouldnt take much. with 16 managers, each one would just have to take 1 week in a season. I am extremely busy until June 27th, but after that I can take my turn. Any volunteers for first 2-3 weeks?

If Genso takes a break/quits this season, Beasts just has to go 22-0 and lose in the finals again and he would bot promote.

But agreed with you there, he is #5 in Canada and stuck in II.1 for another season. I'd be more frustrated than ever. Quite dedicated to keep going and winning and I think it's great.

If you remember me, then I don't care if everyone else forgets.

Genso most likely will just relegate if he quits, not giving additional spot

I think Genso will have a difficult time finishing higher than 8th, there's no bot cleanup for that. ;)

The ironic part is St Louis first made Naismith due to Bot cleanup (there was an extra spot in season 20) but they clearly weren't ready to promote back then. Now he's got a significantly better team and he can't get out of D2. Cruel game sometimes.

It's very unlikely Genso would avoid relegation with his current plan, so they'll have to win that last game.
I think many of us have been stuck in a really stacked league, II.3 used to ridiculous. That said, Pszczyna's team was better than I've ever seen in div2. If he gets another big, I think he could easily have the best record in the Great 8 by the end of the season.

Hi all,

Thanks for the welcome! I love the gazette write ups for the incoming teams.

To be completely honest, I'm not sure what my first trip to Naismith will be like, I have no clue what to expect other than playing some great teams. Prior to the finals last season i had decided if I didn't make Naismith this year with this aging roster, I would have to break up the band so to speak and rebuild. Now the dilemma is, I owe it to my players to give them a shot at this level, but the window is obviously a short one, and I'm not sure I can rebuild on the fly.

Lots for me to consider. But for now, I'm simply happy to be here and looking forward to the season.

Good Luck everyone!

- L-Tax

Good day everyone. Thank you all for the welcome!

For my first season at Naismith, I'm hoping my team can do well and stay in this great division. I had played BB from season 13 to Season 18 and stopped at Division II.3 with the same team name. I did quit a while and then started another team from season 19. At last season I tried hard to bring more Canucks to my team and did not expect to get the promotion. I think I need to change my strategy quite a bit for this coming competitive season.

Congrats to L-Tax, I had played with him for couple seasons at Division II.3 which has a fantastic forum.

Farewell to Genso Suikoden II, it is true there is no endless party in the world "天下没有不散的筵席" .

Keep my finger crossed and looking forward to the biggest challenging season in my team history.

Good Luck guys!

Hello Naismith
I'm excited to play in the Naismith
I started out in division III.7 that was one of the hardest Division III leagues when I was there.
I promoted in season 21 and it took me 2 seasons to promote from division II.2
against Big Ballerz.
I love training and I hope you guys will let me do it.

Good luck

May the best team win

Thanks
