My player is okay. 28yo Shooting Guard, 11k salary, 80 TSP. He will be a starter in my early cup games and 3rd stringer in my league games.

Seems like a good idea for new managers, not only to give them competitive players to start out, but to also give them incentive to walk-through of the somewhat confusing BB interface.

Fuck it, here's my player;

Jump Shot: tremendous Jump Range: prolific
Outside Def.: respectable Handling: prominent
Driving: prolific Passing: mediocre
Inside Shot: respectable Inside Def.: awful
Rebounding: respectable Shot Blocking: average
Stamina: awful Free Throw: inept

Experience: respectable TSP: 80 (57 + 23)

You're lucky, mine is 24yo, also with 10k salary but only 66 tsp!
My recent random draftee was almost as good

Driving: proficient Passing: mediocre
Inside Shot: respectable Inside Def.: average
Rebounding: respectable Shot Blocking: pitiful
Stamina: mediocre Free Throw: inept

Experience: average TSP: 66 (44 + 22)

Goto preferences and you'll find how to restart the tutorial. You'll have to fire 1 player and refer a friend. The dude I got was a 9-36 guy. He was fired immediately :(

And welcome back Beanerz! Glad to have you back. You can game test how the tutorial will effect "new" players lol. Tbh though, I think its a great addition to the game and possibly long overdue.(?) RiP maybe we should bump you training thread link in here.

Thanks Mr. Burns! Its good to be back.

Was hoping that it would only be a single season in Div III but with a couple relegated teams in my division I may need two to promote. If all goes well I will be back up in Naismith by 2025 lol.

Don't know if you've noticed, but the promotion system also changed a bit, now the winner of the finals and the team with the best regular season record promote. Not really sure what happens if the same team winds the championship and has the best record though.
5 teams from each division demote, both 8th + the losers of the playdown between 5th and 7th and between 6th. So it's easier to promote but also harder to stay there afterwards

which im actually certain i will demote from divII lol
i cant even find any players worth buying to stay competitive
and these tutorial players aren't bad, but nowhere near divII level in terms of usefulness
