While we're waiting for offseason stuff, MVP predictions? I'm going with:

Casillas - BMG
Quiroz - FTF
Veress - PEN
Boudreaux - BRU
Pratt - BUL
Johnson - AIR

with Good, Waterloot, Evangelista all slotting in there somewhere (I can never figure out how it treats 2nd players from a team)

Record plays heavily into it, it's the only reason Pratt won last season. I think that eliminates some teams. I've actually got Good as the favorite. Pratt is probably bumped up to 3rd or 4th due to team record.

could be, i'll be curious which of them is higher. i've generally assumed that totals, rather than per-game stats, are more important for the MVP, and casillas has +3 games on good (22 vs 19), so his counting stats are pretty much all better.

Nobody scouts in this league, you could have a middle pick and still probably get your target if you scouted heavily. His salary looks great, hope you wind up liking him.

I think it would be too risky to heavily scout if you're a fringe playoff team hoping the teams with the top picks disregard the draft. I'd imagine it's normal for someone with the worst record in any league to invest in the draft. The player I got basically has respectable in everything with low passing which trains the fastest and he has good height at 6-7, strong free throw, but I wish his potential was a little higher, but I still think he can become a really good player
