My GS is usually amazing regardless of the mins my guys play. It's weird, but I don't mind. It plummeted this week, with 6/9 rotation players dropping a level of GS and 0/9 popping a level in GS. My mins were atrocious though. I had several rotation players get less than 45 mins, etc.

Sorry. I pursued this game in a spur of the moment decision with my C injured. Figured you might tank and my weekly mins would be better if there was a blow out. Wasn't the case.

I like how my out of position players and back up players managed to have my better +/- ratings this game, like my 19 y/o PG for 6 mins (3 mins PF) with a +6 rating, best on the team. 5 guys played at PG and PF each. 4 guards played PF for 8 mins and another guard played C for 9 mins. All of them with my better +/- ratings and I played look inside. Not trying to rub it in, it just makes no sense and it's happened to me 3 other times in close games that I've won.

Came here to post about the 128-7 beat down. Lowest point total I've seen.

What about those walkovers 25-0?

Sorry folks, I am just too busy these days and I try to remain active as much as I can. Hopefully the save up will give me a chance to contribute for Canada..perhaps a Canadian Farm Team...we shall see...

Awesome, I won the scrub vs scrub game against Philosopher Kings. Somewhat makes up for my loss to Kaboom last game. I thought I'd have a chance to win all three games this week if Philosopher Kings played scrubs, which I expected they did. Now here's hoping I can pull out a tough one against yorty in the cup.

We have finally hit the halfway point of the season.

Blenkinsop is leading the way and really pulling away from the pack in the Great 8 with their current 5 game lead and currently look unstoppable. In the Big 8, I have a decent point differential lead on Beanerz. HCA is probably going to come down to who either gets the easier cup matches or gets knocked out first.

The more interesting race will be the relegation battles in each division. Is PK Finally going to make a move? 4 through 7 in the Big 8 are only separated by one game.

What does everyone else think about the league or their team currently?

After selling Gaize, I was able to replace him for a slightly cheaper option and actually make a profit each week without the cup, so that is pretty key. Lately, I've really liked my team and only that loss to Beanerz really stung.

My cup draw has been very easy so far, drawing a D5 team this week was perfect. I figure it will start getting difficult next week though and then I will need to decide between making a cup run or maybe trying to sneak in and take HCA for the playoffs or at least in the semis this season.

I've been very lucky so far to have won as many games as I have... Naismith is no joke
(not to say my team is properly assembled =P)
Trying to make a deep cup run and stay afloat in the league standings to hopefully stay in the Naismith for another try
Pretty pleased with the quick patch pick ups of a team I've been able to assemble
Still trying to save some more money for a more permanent solution at PG so I can slide Fairchild back to SF
And I'm still torn about what to do with the 19yo HoF
