I should probably apologize for thread necromancy here but....

Great Eight 5, Big Eight 3

Mount Olive I think proved their mettle big time by taking on the Crusaderz. And I may regret counting the NYD-Project F game as being in the can... 10 pt. lead with 2 minutes left in that game might be nothing, given the scorefest. Tootsies-Dragons played a game at the other end of the spectrum. Go Great 8!

I have to give your team credit. For the Libertines to continue to win so dominately in such a tough league is just impressive. I am looking forward to their next league matchup though... to see them on the road against such a tough team from the Big 8 will be great to see.

The only change I saw was that he played his rookie at PF, moved his regular PF to C, and moved his starting C to the bench. So he was only missing one of his key players compared to how he played other games. So the win still looks very solid to me.

I personally feel like I got lucky to have been the home team, too. The Crusaderz are the better team for sure if we played on a neutral court. The top 4 in the Big 8 are all great teams, and this is just a tough stretch of the season for all of the Great 8 teams. Hopefully we can steal a couple more and keep the momentum from this first round of games.
