Maybe it's not bad luck? Maybe trying to beat teams with $800,000 payrolls with your $500,000 simply isn't leaving you with enough margain for error? It's a lot easier to pull off the low payroll thing in D2 and D3 where half the teams don't manage gameshape or enthsuiasm correctly.

I'm well aware of the gap in salary and I know that two (and maybe just one) extra large salary player would have extra wins for me already. I have been busy on the TL but I am not about to overpay for someone, or get someone outside my preferred next skill set. Also, I do not want to carry a huge salary all year and see low sub-100k profits every week.

I know the margin for error is thin, it's just about right on the edge but just coming up short. Commenting on D2/D3 history, GS, and enth is moot.

It's just a bit frustrating to lose a game with a huge lead, due to 1) injury and 2) everything going in for them and nothing going in for me in the 4th. It wasn't the first time this happened and won't be the last, but it still stings when it happens.

Completely agree that you still have a clear cut advantage. My team has essentially no depth at this point, but I am hoping to address that in time. Your best players are also slightly better than mine so I need the edge in effort and home court.

I did not realize that the schedule was that lop sided, but I am grateful :) Ten seasons against each other already, that is insane. I still remember the day I promoted to Naismith but figured there was no chance I could have around.

I was searching the transfer list and saw a familiar name and came to that conclusion. I've caught myself doing that once or twice.
