WOW... I have been saying it all year my DEPTH will be the question on whether i not i actually win this league. In now 2 of my 4 losses 3 if you count the cup game. 1 of my big 3 (Wilburn, Paulo, or Tommy) have gotten hurt and my lack of bench has KILLED us!!! its so frustrating. Either my doctor needs to be better at taping up some minor injuries and getting them back on the court. Or MANAGEMENT needs to get us some money quickly in order to add 1-2 players on the bench that can stand in when needed. Injury to our 6th has hurt us as well should be back by monday hopefully. BucsBlue is having tons of conversations behind closed doors as a promising season is not looking good currently. Can we steady the ship, add depth and get healthy? Happy thanksgiving to our league and best of luck to everyone.

I do sense that they've tweaked the engine to increase injuries (and length) for teams carrying only minimum doctors. Since I haven't really been in a position to compete since I've seen the uptick, it hasn't compelled me enough to upgrade, but I have thought about it to see if it curbed them at least a little bit.

I carry a pretty heavy doctor, I don't know how you can compete in D3 if you lose a key player to injury. Worth the $ to me to ensure my weekly payroll investment doesn't get wasted in the playoffs.

As for the arms race, I'm just upgrading my PG. Selling the other one (hopefully). He's not a great skills/price PG (my acquisition) but he fits my team needs perfectly. Thus I overpay him weekly to hopefully make my team more productive. we shall see.

i carry an advanced doctor. like longduck said, i want my players to actually play. i don't feel like losing multiple weeks of salary. if they reduce the injuries, and injury times like i think they do, they actually help me get what i'm paying for. i feel like my team is far more efficient, i think this is how to get the most bang for my buck. advanced and massage for me

well only 6 games remain, and this league has gone quiet all the sudden, despite some super close races, so i think i'll stir the pot a little with some power rankings, and mostly because this might be the last chance to rank myself...

1. frosty - best league record by 2 games, best league point differential by 5 points. already hit my pre-season goal in league wins, 1 more win will put me over that goal. that's all i'll say about me.

2. flamengo - i'm sure most people would say this the scariest team in the league, and i'd agree. they dropped a surprising one to philly last game, but philly is very very good.

3. bucsblue - super high point differential, but this ranking is a bit wishy washy. it's possible some teams below are a bit more deserving.

4. philly - quickly moving up the rankings and taking down teams at will. the additions of santarelli and zarzecki are proving very positive moves, and fischer is a stud.

5. lambda - proving they are human and sometimes vulnerable, they slide down a few spots. they are still a very talented group, and still legitimate championship contenders.

6. baker - i was about to write them off, but then they beat lambda. they may be able to threaten bucsblue in the big 8.

7. nyc warhawks - maybe underrated at 7, still outside of playoff position, which is amazing considering their 11-5 record and +272 point differential. ranked a little lower because of a recent kinda sorta bad loss to snake river recently.

8. west side - moving up, they've been playing really well lately, winning 5 of their last 6. they have some really nice wins this season.

9. snake river - playing better lately. if they return to early season form, they might make bucsblue nervous if they keep it up.

10. warhawks - another team that looked good early in the season, and kind of fell apart mid-season. we'll see if they can get their game shape up and start winning again. they've lost 7 of their last 8.

11. strong arm - call me biased, but with a win over nyc, they make a good case. i like the way their team is put together. if they can take down west side next game, that would go a long way in solidifying themselves as relegation favorites.

12. walnut - management really is impressive on this team. tremol is a man-beast, and they have a couple supporting pieces. a couple additions to the team (and i mean, like, exactly 2) to help tremol, and this team would be legitimate contenders.

13. north carolina - this team is improving, and has improved. bringing in valmaseda was a very positive addition. if they win their relegation series, or better yet, finish 5th, they could be serious contenders next season.

14. glugly - afk

15. grand ma - gave up. r.i.p.

16. beastest - afk and terrible

I can't believe my team pulled that game out of their backsides in the 4th quarter against CT from UNC!

Huge win, especially that I'm still without Bowers!

Yeah, this season has been all about building that bank account back up for the Streets, which was stagnated by a shorter than ideal Cup run.

The good news is I've won a couple road games so my gate hasn't taken a major hit, I also lowered my bleacher prices early on, which helped.
