My actual prediction:

I think Chanute has the Great 8 locked up, unless a huge upset happens during the 1st or 2nd round. Chanute's only loss came at the first game of the season, away at Brooklyn Kings.

In the Big 8
Hoi is definitely not as dominant as in the start of the season, but has an easy ending schudule, but I think Hoi gets destroyed in the first round, even if he has home court advantage. Hoi might even fall out of the playoffs if Mad Cow and Annihilators can take advantage of his poor team form right now.
Sons of Vulcan and SoCal have the same last 2 opponents. Mars Aliens and smallfries (2 teams fighting for the last playoff spot), and they play each other tomorrow. I think whoever manages to finish on top of the Big 8 will have the highest chance of winning the conference. Whoever the 4th place team in the Big 8 is could cause some trouble for whoever the number 1 seed is.

Chanute has the Great 8 locked up

part of the reason I sold Israel Winn. he was 32. even if Balls of Steel were to make the playoffs, would get whacked by Chanute. so took the money, save on payroll.

Giuseppe Boneccher Balls of Steel 2 week injury

1 CHA 81
3 BOS 66
Final

Balls of Steel was leading when Boneccher went our with his injury. Might have won the game if he stayed healthy. Now I can kiss playoffs goodbye, but ALSO must worry about playing relegation series without best player.

Risky move by Prov City didn't work. Put less enthusiasm in tonight's game and now he finds himself in 5th place.

Yes, you must make the playoff to have any chance of winning the playoffs. Especially it being a home game for me. I guess that he Prov City thought without Winn (sold) or Boneccher (injured) that he could win playing Normal.

Hot damn, first season in this league (and in monster conference) and I make the playoffs.

What a game my relegation playoff was. For 3 quarters my team could not play defense, grab a rebound, and the refs kept calling fouls on my team. In the end, I won by 24.

Surprise win by Mad Kow winning away from home by 6.

A questionable decision by smallfries to playoff normal when Socal had homefield advantage.

Vulcan also won away against a stuggling Hoi Poloi team.

Chanute and Bamboo played playoff normal and still comfortably won their games.

Prov City looks like they are selling a lot of their team.

smallfries is also selling 3 75k+ players after losing their first round game, and only for $1? What a deal!

Who knows what Vorpals could be planning right now with no competitive games for awhile.

Yep very risky decision by me. I thought about POCT but thought I would be in a bad position enthusiasm wise should I win. Took a chance with guessing their tactics and I was wrong. Horrible call on my part. Oh well, get to start rebuilding. Was going to rebuild this season for the future but saw a chance to make playoffs and be competitive. Got the playoffs right but not the being competitive part....

Good luck to those left in the playoffs!

Chanute won by a lot even with Socal getting the GDP correct. Socal will probably need a miracle to win game 3 on Chanute's home court, or will Chanute try to win game 2?

Mars barely won an intense relegation game 3 against Ballus, a game that went back and forth all night, even though Mars got the GDP wrong. Also note that Ballus has much higher salaries than I do.

Brooklyn won their game against Mad Kow. Odd that Mad Kow got the GDP correct to win game 1, but did not use GDP for the rest of the series.
