We started our World Cup Qualifying campaign last monday night against the group favourites and no.2 ranked team in Poland.

The team struggled from the outset which is no surprise considering the gap in class between the two sides. Moithala starred with a team high 21 points and 15 rebounds. Not much else to say on this game but we are too underpowered for this competition.

Next game is vs no.8 Chile

Well we improved last week against Chile, despite still losing by 32 points. Our Inside Scoring was pretty good, however they still beat us at probably 4 of the 5 postions. Missing Motihala and Galvin hurt us alot, however i don't think they would have made that much difference as Mtolo and Wagana stepped in nicely.

not many other players with his potential in South Africa though. you can get him pretty cheap aswell

if nobody wants him i will pick him up and do some training on him.

yeah i know ,he wont fit much with me and his training will be very slow because of space ,it would just be a waste ,best someone else picks him up.

Quick Update.

Been busy the last few weeks so this is a bit delayed. We played Taiwain a few weeks back, which was our best game of the season to date, losing by a respectable 16 points. We played 'push the ball' in an attempt to try and spread the floor and the superior Taiwan players. Motihala was instrumental with 12-16 shooting for his team-high 28 points. Mtolo stepped in for Galvin's absence with a double double 21 points, 13 rebounds.
