Interesting premise. I would say moral decay is everlasting but it is ambigious because in essence society is becoming much more aware of things that are wrong, compared to the past and therefore the standards keep increasing. Not to make this a political thread but some of the worst crimes against humanity were not in the current century so maybe we are beating down the right road.

I don't think you want to venture into a dicsussion about morals and honesty.

Deciding a strategy for a NT game can include a lot of things like looking at strategies of the past, known skills of players, game shapes of players, etc. The moment one party reaches out and suggests a TIE deal, communication becomes part of the strategy. You made communcation part of the strategy, that's on you.

Suggesting a TIE deal in a knockout phase is a pretty low thing to do, especially the semi-finals of a World Championship. You force the other party to give you information. They either:
- Don't react, which is quite a clear sign they will not play TIE
- Refuse, which is quite a clear sign they will not play TIE
- Accept, with the added benefit that if they break the deal, you can paint them as dishonest and a person with no integrity.

Hence, the initiating party always wins.

Now, we were always going to play normal. Why should we give you that information? You have no right to that information, nor do we have a duty to tell you. We wouldn't have communicated with you at all if you hadn't approached us. By approaching us you forced us to do something, that was your decision. And since you made communication part of the strategy, we accepted, because we didn't want to show you our cards.

That has nothing to do with our honesty or integrity, it says more about your integrity to force somebody to give up information.

Haha dankjewel voor de mooie woorden! Ik had het inderdaad gezien, super gaaf! Mijn all-time best is denk nog steeds Cow met zijn B3 winst en individuele #1 world ranking, maar ik vind het wel heel mooi om dit voor ons land te doen en zo hoog te komen!
